To quote Phil Collins in the Don't Lose My Number video:

"So how does it end?"

Ok, so we need an Epcot related discussion to start up. Here's one...

It looks like GM is officially going Chapter 11 soon, so what do you all think this means for Test Track? It's possible that GM can continue to sponsor the attraction, but I've also been told that Toyota is likely to take over as well. All I can say is if that happens, all they should do is change the pre-show, change the showroom, change the GM logos on the vehicles and be done with it.

THANK YOU!:sohappy:

But yes, I hope that they do this in the meantime, and then give the whole attraction a refurb. Keep most of the interior but make somethings a bit more futuristic. Maybe the finale? I don't know, but I'm sure it's possible.

Just keep it in here. We need it.:lookaroun

Now, which JII are you talking about 2.0 or 3.0? 3.0 is OK, even for me, and I fairly enjoy it.

2.0, though...NO. Worstest.

You aren't allowed to talk about the Imagination Pavillion anymore:dazzle:

:ROFLOL:

Imagination 3.0 is worse than SGE, the Intergalactic Dance Party, etc.

It is an Imagineering FAIL! Imagine if they had redone Horizons and, but blacked out half of it.

Yep. Lord knows what they were thinking with 2.0, but that's not even a attraction. It's a glorified funhouse.

Somehow I get the feeling that once the GM sponsorship is done, no new sponsor will move in... at least not while the economy is still in the shambles that it's in right now.

I'd wager that once GM leaves, Disney will design a logo for a fake car company... I don't know, something like "Mousemobile" or "Mauswagen" or "Plutopia" or something like that.

And then, all that will happen is all GM logos will be replaced with the fake Disney-developed car company logo, and all references to GM replaced with references to the the fake Disney-developed car company, and that will be that, and they'll call it a day. I mean, there could be a few cosmetic changes here and there, a prop replacement perhaps, but that's about it.

Test Track has been heralded as such a marquee attraction that I doubt it would be replaced with something newer and better before at least 20 years have elapsed since its opening, and we're only at about 10 right now.

True, but at least 3 has got "One Little Spark."

2 didn't have anything redeeming. And I think it ripped a piece of my soul out when I rode it.
