This is a thought that occured to me. If they were to build an Indiana Jones ride at the studios, what should its theme be? Should it be themed to an Indian temple like the one at DL or a Mayan/Aztec temple like the one at TDS? Just a random thought.

Are there any current plans for the building to the left of TSMM, the last time I was in there was to meet Darth Vader for SW weekend three years ago?

It's time to something about it
It's time for us to make the call
To the only man who can help us
The greatest cop of them all!.....

...I'm detective D*** Tracy

With a crew and a tommy gun!

Who remembers seeing this show? I love listening to it.

I think it just needs more rides.Last time we went, we were trying to stay for a day.We rode all of the rides in half a day then we left to take a break then we went back to magic kingdom.DHS is a half day attraction!

Possibly, but don't count on RSR being added as WDW has Test Track.

My word that's a weak argument if the suits seriously are thinking that. Who gives a crap? WDW already has a roller coaster, why would it need Everest? Just because it's the same ride system doesn't mean it's the same ride. If that is a serious argument against RSR coming to WDW, it's an asinine one.

Well that and it costs a couple hundred million dollars. WDW is also not getting an Indiana Jones ride similar to DL or Tokyo because the system is already used at AK. Same thing.

Both arguments are asinine in all honesty. One is the best ride Disney has opened in a long, long time, and the other has the potential to be the same.

To keep them from being built because they use the same ride system is foolish. I guess Walt really should have thought before he put all those boat rides in! No body wants to ride the same ride system, even if the story and theming are different.

Hey, if it was up to me every park would have 30 E Tickets. But face it, they have trouble finding enough techs as it is to keep things running. Plus, as much as Disney makes they can't just print money. Only uncle sam can do that.

Even Dubai dosen't have the funds to build every attraction they can dream of.

I'm not saying that they should build everything under the sun.

But to say that they shouldn't build a ride because it has the same ride system as another doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, to me it does. I mean they could build using the same system, but I think if they have that kind of budget they would rather add a land at AK or fix JII or Energy or add LM at MK or all of those. A Carsland at WDW would be down the list. Plus it will draw people to DL if it is unique to that park. One Disney never said every park will get a clone of everything.

I'm going to DL.....in 2012 :D

The front runner for a new land at AK is a clone. That uses the same technology as TT. That's ironic.

Also, wouldn't TLM be a clone?;)

I was specifically (as in only) referring to Radiator Springs Racers.

From what I know the 20K, JTTCOTE and LM will use clone ride systems not already used at WDW although journey does use TT technology.

Just to be clear, I think the "no clone ride systems at the same resort" is just PR. I am not defending that. I think they could come up with a much more reasoned justfication.

20K could be spectacular. I love the dry/wet thing. And I'd love to see JTTCOTE.

And LM is kinda a cloned system. It's pretty much Nemo's ride system.

Yeah, in a way. unfortunately it sounds like it was scaled back to a standard omnimover. Of course if I was king :king:, I'd order the clone ride system but reimagine it as a Princess/Frog ride. That way you save money on the ride system but you get a unique ride for WDW.
