I was thinking the same thing tonight...
I used to think he seemed like a nice kid, but the way he's starting to act is getting on my nerves.

Let the record show that I did not say this.
Haley did an excellent job tonight. What she may lack in the vocal department, she makes up in showmanship which is a big part of entertainment. How do you think Taylor won last year?
Sangina will make it, I made sure to vote for him a little extra.
Indeed, but does the wife comment earn him some female votes because of how "romantic" that is?
I voted for Haley, Gina, and Sangina tonight. They are my three favorites on the show.
I'm ready for Lakisha, Blake, and Phil to hit the road.

I really didn't think Phil was bad last night...:lookaroun I'm definitely not a fan of his, but I thought the song was pretty good.
Does anyone else think Haley is a bit thick and... saggy...:lookaroun to wear the clothes she's wearing...? I mean, if Sabrina Sloan or that cute Alaina chick were still on the show wearing her outfits, they'd look great! But Haley...? Just my opinion...:shrug:
Earlier on, I had thought LaKisha was going to win it (along with most everyone else!) - now I'm not so sure. A lot of people keep improving...

Did anyone notice what Sanjaya said after Simon made his "fake" comment about him being excellent? He said "welcome to the world of Sanjaya" or something like that. That is just plain cocky to me.
I was just thinking about Lakisha. I wonder if she will end up with the same fate that Mandisa had last year. They both have the big voice. Who knows..:shrug:

He said "Welcome to the universe of Sanjaya" after Simon facetiously praised him because last week Simon's comment was something to the effect of "I don't really thinks it matters what I say anymore-- you are in your own little universe."
It did come off cocky if you were not aware of what preceded it.

I know what you mean about Haley and the outfits...I thought she was really saggy too...I HATE dresses with like the halter tops though. They don't work for everybody.
I'm ed that Sabrina isn't there and Haley is. That's just wrong.

Let's see, based on that thinking, I will say that any team except the Devil Rays will win the World Series this year. Wow, I'm a GENIUS!

LaKisha CAN sing, she just has trouble with the lower register.
Chris is not only CREEPY, but he can't really sing, IMHO.

I think the problem here is that Lakisha, Jordin, and Melinda have powerhouse voices. Blake and Chris do not have powerhouse voices, but for what they can do, they do it well.
As Angela (Valawen) may attest to :lookaroun Chris R has a strong resemblance to Justin Timberlake. Justin by no stretch of the imagination has a big voice like JC Chasez does, but he is very talented with his smooth, soulful voice. I think Chris has that same style and last night the judges were very right in their assessment of him.
Can't expect everyone to be a Whitney or the three contestants I mentioned. Doesn't take away from their singing abilities IMO.
