There are many pop stars with only average voices (Hi, Gwen :wave: ) so Sanjaya certainly has a chance. Not a CD/download I personally would buy, but to each his own.

I'm not a big fan of the standards, and I fear we will get a bunch of boring ballads. As previously mentioned, those songs can be updated, which would be good. However, as demonstrated by last year's boring balladeer with a bad voice (Hi, Rod :wave: ), they can be pretty dull. There's no question that Frank Sinatra was cool in his day, and if any of the guys can capture that attitude, they may do okay. Blake, maybe.

The women will do well. I'm worried about Gina, though, because this isn't really up her alley. Unless she does the Sid Vicious version of Frank's "My Way". That? Would be awesome.

I think she's always had an amazing voice but I didn't too much care for her during her "Dirrty" days because she was a little too slutty, but she seems to have calmed down a lot.

It's hard for me to envision any of the remaining guys being able to pull off a 'rat pack' type performance. Simply not cool enuf not to mention lacking in croonability. :lookaroun
