Trip Report A Whole Lotta Driving Going on!

Hello everyone. Today, Crystal and I make our way to Disney! Our journey started almost 2 weeks ago on July 3. We've been traveling the Midwest and Gulf Coast visiting family and seeing the sites and are currently staying in Tallahassee visiting Brayden at FSU. We made stops in Indianapolis, Carlinville, IL, Amana, Iowa, Madison, WI, Oxford, MS, New Orleans, LA before making it to Tallahassee. We also made brief stops in other states along the way. Getting breakfast with Brayden later this morning before driving to Disney to get Maddy after her shift at Be Our Guest. The plan is to head to Epcot for extra evening hours tonight. I'll post pictures of our journey later. I look forward to sharing as we go.

After our snack, we went to the Seas

We spent time checking out the aquarium after.

Maddy was able to go home early from work, so I’ll meet her at the resort while Crystal and Brayden enjoy the extra hours at Epcot.

We were there just before 9. Walked out and fireworks started. Crystal and Brayden are still there. I'm hanging with Maddy at the resort.

We were impressed by the paintings. Each portrait had the name of the serviceman, their branch, and years of service. We immediately recognized some of the faces. Well worth visiting.

Getting packed up at AKL and moving to GF this morning. Heading to Hollywood Studios after. Maddy works until 630. We will meet up with her then.

Our room was ready when Maddy and I arrived before 9 am! We are in Boca Chica. It’s a big room

After being down for hours today, Rise of the Resistance is back up.

We made our way to Rockin’ Rollercoaster

We were about to use our LL from Slinky Dog Dash (it’s been down almost all day) at Smugglers Run, but Slinky Dog opened as we were walking

After Baseline, we walked to Tower of Terror

We then made the walk out and are on the bus heading back to the resort for some pool time and possibly a dinner later tonight

Returned to the resort for pool time. Had time to get a drink and they closed the pool due to lightning.

Beer choices were the usual Disney choices.

It’s sunny on one side of our building
