Trip Report A Whole Lotta Driving Going on!

Hello everyone. Today, Crystal and I make our way to Disney! Our journey started almost 2 weeks ago on July 3. We've been traveling the Midwest and Gulf Coast visiting family and seeing the sites and are currently staying in Tallahassee visiting Brayden at FSU. We made stops in Indianapolis, Carlinville, IL, Amana, Iowa, Madison, WI, Oxford, MS, New Orleans, LA before making it to Tallahassee. We also made brief stops in other states along the way. Getting breakfast with Brayden later this morning before driving to Disney to get Maddy after her shift at Be Our Guest. The plan is to head to Epcot for extra evening hours tonight. I'll post pictures of our journey later. I look forward to sharing as we go.

After the Speedway, our boarding group was called. So, we made the walk to Frontierland

On the boat to Grand Floridian to meet Maddy for a late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare

After breakfast, we returned to Animal Kingdom Lodge for some rest and now pool time.

When we arrived at the pool, the only seats we could find were outside the fence area. That was fine, however, as we stayed in the water for well over an hour. We decided to get some drinks. Lavender Spritzer for Crystal and an old Elephant Foot IPA for me

The pool closed around 545 due to lightning in the area. It never rained, but the sky was dark and the thunder was loud. There was a lot of animal activity this evening.

We are on our way to the Contemporary. Looking forward to tonight.

Good Morning

After a late night of wine and champagne, we are finally moving. We are on our way to Disney Springs for lunch at The Edison.

We have dinner plans tonight with some of Crystal’s college friends who recently moved to Florida.

Brayden arrives tomorrow around lunchtime. It will be great to spend time with him in Disney.

Crystal had the St Louis Ribs. I sampled them as well

I had the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and mashed potatoes

We then walked to Sprinkles and shared a gluten free ice cream sandwich
