Trip Report A Whole Lotta Driving Going on!

Hello everyone. Today, Crystal and I make our way to Disney! Our journey started almost 2 weeks ago on July 3. We've been traveling the Midwest and Gulf Coast visiting family and seeing the sites and are currently staying in Tallahassee visiting Brayden at FSU. We made stops in Indianapolis, Carlinville, IL, Amana, Iowa, Madison, WI, Oxford, MS, New Orleans, LA before making it to Tallahassee. We also made brief stops in other states along the way. Getting breakfast with Brayden later this morning before driving to Disney to get Maddy after her shift at Be Our Guest. The plan is to head to Epcot for extra evening hours tonight. I'll post pictures of our journey later. I look forward to sharing as we go.

Good morning

Crystal and I are on our way to Animal Kingdom this morning. Brayden is at the bus stop in Tallahassee and should be at the resort by 1. We have lunch at Sanaa today, and Epcot planned this afternoon.

Started our day at Flight of Passage

We then made our way to Asia and Expedition Everest

We stayed at EE to ride twice then walked to Dinosaur, but it was down. We decided to return to Jambo House to get things organized since we are moving from AKL to Grand Floridian tomorrow

We are excited for our lunch at Sanaa with Brayden and Maddy

Got a few things in order, now relaxing at the pool.

Back to New Orleans

We were up early the next morning, and we decided to check things out in the city right away. We walked to Louis Armstrong Park first.

We continued our way through the French Quarter. It was late morning, so we got some lunch and had a few drinks as we walked

Brayden arrived safely from Tallahassee. It’s great to see them both together.

We made the short walk from Jambo House to Kidani Village for lunch at Sanaa

We started with bread service

Brayden spilled his beer, so the server returned with the refill and a kiddie cup

It’s great being together

We continued making our way around World Showcase, stopping in Italy for beer and sparkling wine, in America to view Potraits of Courage by President Bush, then finally completed the circle and made our way to Guardians

Crystal was very excited to get September for the second consecutive time. The rain held off
