Jedi is both singular and plural in the Star Wars vernacular.I wonder what that title could ever possibly be foreshadowing
Rey is obviously going to train to be a Jedi. Luke dies to make her "The Last Jedi."

I know, but still. I wouldn't be surprised to see it play out that way.Jedi is both singular and plural in the Star Wars vernacular.
That would be great...the first teaser for TFA dropped late November 2014 so we're actually overdue if they use similar timing. I would assume if anything were to show up, it would only be a teaser.Fingers crossed that the first trailer (full length or teaser, though I'd prefer the former) airs during the Super Bowl.
I started thinking the same thing about Rey when they said Skywalker Saga...but of course, they could be referring to Luke. Here is what was on Star Wars.com... I am starting to buy the Rey is a Skywalker theory lol.
THE OFFICIAL TITLE FOR STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII REVEALED
ANNOUNCING THE NAME OF THE NEXT FILM IN THE SKYWALKER SAGA.
We have the greatest fans in this or any other galaxy. In appreciation of the fans, we wanted them to be the first to know the title of the next chapter in the Skywalker saga: STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI.
THE LAST JEDI is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is scheduled for release December 15, 2017

I mean technically, it could be both Rey and Ben.Agreed that is why I am not 100% sold. However Luke was literally in the last minute of the last movie so I have a hard time believing it is him. It could be about Kylo Ren he is a Skywalker and the Trilogies have always been the story about the Skywalker family, so it could be him they are referring to.
(Disclaimer: I mostly just play my GameCube still lol)
My prediction asper the chitchat thread:
The title of Episode VIII
Wow, some of these websites make it sound like its a nightmare to go to Shangai Disneyland. Also.. reselling fastpasses and memoralia? what the hell!Shanghai Disney Attendance:

aka Disney and Shendi's publicly stated goal for phase one is 12 Million. That's not even supposed to be year one.
A newspaper owned by a Japanese Conglomerate also included a plug for Tokyo Disneyland. lol

I can't speak for everyone, but I was there 4 days and I didn't experience any of that. It really was quite nice. I'm writing up more about Shanghai Disney and want to share that soon, but it seems like there's a strong amount of bias against the park in several newspapers. I went during a slower period, but still it was nothing like that.Wow, some of these websites make it sound like its a nightmare to go to Shangai Disneyland. " the last jedi?
So... Luke dies.. and its up to Rey to beat the crap of that snotty kid and the "cult classic" lover(aka snoke) ? "
I've been thinking about the series and Carrie. From the sounds of it, she's reunited with Luke in one, and confronts Ben (idk why, but I can't call him Kylo Ren) in another. Or that was the plan anyways (still feel like they might recast her). I really don't see them killing Luke after they killed Han though (from what I've observed, Mark likes playing Luke, as opposed to Harrison and Han).Ok good. I'm not the only who thinks that sounds terrible.

Yep, it's also in the crawl of TFA where Luke is referred to as The Last Jedi.StarWars.com stated the title refers to Luke.
I enjoy the bias in the Shanghai List article. According to them in 6 months they had 5.6M visitors and if attendance continues at the same level it will barely be over 10M for the first year. Maybe my basic math is a little rusty, but wouldn't that be 11.2M for the year. If they consider 1.2M to be barely anything they can cut me a checkShanghai Disney Attendance:

There was a bit of a drop off in these Winter months, which is expected. The big make or break moment will come during this Chinese New Year. That's the big wait and see. Even if it loses steam it should be the number one Chinese Theme Park. It's looking like its chances for 10 Million are getting stronger. Expansion should be on the way shortly.I enjoy the bias in the Shanghai List article. I don't really care all that much if the park succeeds, but it sure seems there are a bunch of people heavily rooting for failure. Interesting to watch.
Are you sure? It was supposed to have reopened on the 19th. Where did you see that? Perhaps it got delayed. They're planning some further Roaring Rapids and Crystal Grotto work in the coming months. I think Crystal Grotto was one that needed some paint work, so that should a good thing.Speaking of Shanghai the Roaring Rapids ride opened today after being closed for 3 months.
Reports on Twitter said it opened back up, it doesn't say specifically today but its the first report I have seen. Are you sure? It was supposed to have reopened on the 19th. Where did you see that?
