One of Dreamfinder's hats has gone on eBay, the "Mystery Story" one.

Someone should donate that to D23

The hat alone by itself is already up to $910 with 10 bids so far....and four days to go!
That's crazy for something like this...and I'm fully aware of the 'collectibles market' when it comes to stuff like this.
Seems too high a price this early in the game for such a thing.
I guarentee a last minute bidding war...and then a clever 'sniper' will scoop it up over everyone.
( Looks around )
:cautious:

I'm the biggest fan of the Original 'Journey Into Imagination' Attraction there is, but I'd never pay that for just the hat from the Literature scenes' figure.
I'd rather save that cash and put with it towards a actual figure....which would likely be five times that amount or more.
I'd happily pay a large sum for some of the items I know of that are tossed on a rack at the Kissimee warehouse....

Sniping is the only way to fly on the well known auction site

I surmise.that the increased volume of traffic is due to the sad state of.available.bus transport and prices of on-site accommodation.

How many people here drive from on-site resort not out of.convenience but out of efficiency?

Lots, we always did when onsite when you are at a bus stop tired after a long day at the parks. Then the ECVs drive up with the inevitable entourage and fill the bus now you have a 20-45 minute wait for next one. After that routine rental cars were always procured. One sometimes two depending on plans

Oh absolutely, Ford.
I will confess that I have done it many, many times in the past.
I almost always win an auction this way if I really want something, and rarely 'go crazy' bid amount wise.
It's all in the timing, not always how much money you are willing to shell out.
;)

Everyone here can relax though...I have absolutely NO plans to chase after this hat!
Ya'all have at it.
It will be interesting to see how high the bidding goes.

Ha ha..nice one, Mike.
No, I don't have any plans to go after this hat.

I already have my super cool 1982 mesh 'Figment' hat with his face and horns.
Might need to bring that to wear if they have a Epcot 35th panel....that will probably make me easy to spot in a crowd!

I'm totally open to meeting up with fellow posters here on the Forum at the Expo.
Should be fairly easy to find me in a crowd with my 'Baxterland' t-shirt on.
:D

Not quite yet, two weeks from today! And we're going to be on the Wonder!

I love the Wonder. Haven't been on it since the dry dock and work, but it would appear they did a better job on her than they did with the Magic. Have a great cruise and let us all know what you think.

Any hints on the name of the second new ship? I have my money on the Imagination...

The two names that came in behind Dream and Fantasy last time were Spirit (I can take no credit for that!) and Imagination. And by a lot. I can't fathom (sea humor) them pulling a surprise. The Disney Triton would sound like a missile that delivers Pixie Dust, after all.

More up charge dining will make me book with the other cruise lines. They are pricey enough with out adding more ipcharge anything

Agreed. That is why this ice cream deal infuriates me. I don't want free Mickey bars from room service. They're crap wherever you have them. And if I want low quality soft serve, I can go to DQ. ... I want real ice cream/gelato/sorbet in a dozen flavors, made on the ship and INCLUDED in the cruise fare).

But there will be more upcharge meal locations on the new ships.

Could come in handy the way this country is heading - Pixie Dust Missiles!

April 26th!

Nice! Mine is April 24th. I don't have time to celebrate Disneyland Paris' 25th when I have my own 25th to celebrate. Lol.

OK, Very Early Happy Birthdays to the Kids of MAGIC Land!
(I have clothes older than both of you. And I certainly have Disney ephemera much older than both of you from trips I took and ... and :cry::cry: so old, so ancient ... so wise!)
