Haha I know nothing about it but seeing that trailer (never even knew it existed) but Peter Dinklage + Mullet + Pac Man + Donkey Kong as "Wreck It Ralph" in the real world...LOL, I doubt it will be the greatest film ever, but it's definitely something I could enjoy a meal watching at the Dinner-ma.

Oh this looks like bad B-movie but guilty pleasures written all over it....

Adding in Kevin James is bad enough, toss in Josh Gad and it's definitely nothing I would ever spend money on.

See, I know who the first guy is (saw his show a few times with Stacey from Saved By The Bell), but I don't know who the second guy is. Maybe that's why - like I said, I haven't seen a Sandler film since the first Clinton was in office, and I don't follow the "testosterone gross-out comedy" stuff - it just looked like a fun popcorn film.

Just stay away from the men's room...

Universal- pay attention. This is what you should theme the bathrooms in the Jurassic Park area to.

Every 10-20 minutes, all the surrounding walls fall down and a giant T-Rex is revealed... Amongst other things revealed...

I'm actually with you and have been surprised by the amount of negative commentary the film is getting. I think there's a definite market for the combo of comedy and nostalgia that the film has.

I mean, it will obviously be stupid and mindless. I probably won't see it in the theater, but if I were going to the movies and wanted to see a comedy, it would probably be my top choice among this year's crop. I'm sure there would be plenty of parts I would laugh at and enjoy (plus plenty of others that I would just shake my head at because they are so stupid, however).

Lincoln Center is by far one of the top IMAX theaters in the US, but at the moment, the champion is the TCL Chinese, which is absolutely stunningly great. Lincoln's next upgrade should bring it in line, though, and there is no better IMAX in NYC. Really there is no other true IMAX in NYC. :)
Looks like I've got something to look forward to the next time I'm in Hollywood :)

I'm excited, in a "I can't believe they're actually making a movie based on something I'd come up with while totally plastered" kinda way.

Seriously. Looks like the same level of garbage Sandler and his crew have been coming up with for years...with more CGI.

Adding in Kevin James is bad enough, toss in Josh Gad and it's definitely nothing I would ever spend money on.

It was also already an episode of Futurama.

It's actually based on a Youtube video.

UNI does a lot of things right as of late, but they dropped the ball big time with the 25th Anniversary...

This is something Disney does better. Just look at the 60th in California.

No kidding. I've spent a couple days the last two weeks taking in all the new 60th Diamond Celebration entertainment, attractions and offerings. I didn't think it was possible, but TDA seems to have topped the 50th event in '05. The new night parade and water/pyro shows are jaw-dropping, and Hatbox Ghost - Abominable Snowman - blah-blah-blah.

But I quickly noticed the park and property-wide 60th decor appears more lavish and more expensive than the very comprehensive decor package they did for the 50th.

They even replaced every generic "Disney Parks" shopping bag, drink cup, popcorn box and various paper ephemera with Anaheim-specific "Disneyland Diamond Celebration" versions two weeks ago.

Every lamppost on the property is swagged, every land is plussed with something Diamond themed, and each park icon is bejeweled. It's all ultra swanky looking and very lush. TDA just proved that when they want to celebrate and spend money, they can and they will. Dare I say it, it's almost Tokyo-esque.

It's like night and day between the two coasts. WDW fans wish we could get this kind of treatment.

Now that Disneyland has celebration-specific stuff, do they use DisneyParks bags at any of the international resorts? Or are we "saving money" by printing generic bags specifically for WDW?

I can't speak for Paris or Hong Kong recently, but I know that Tokyo isn't using Disney Parks bags or paper goods currently. Nor have they ever.

My hunch is the Disney Parks ephemera was an American thing. And now it's just a WDW thing, which tells me TDO should create WDW specific bags, cups, popcorn boxes, napkins, etc. ASAP.

But, but, but......... Disney is a business!!!!!! They have to pinch pennies wherever possible!!!!!!
