A Spirited Perfect Ten

Well, we could start with the most recent one that is still making money: Cinderella.

We could look at the franchise whose fifth installment is filming as I type this in Pirates of the Caribbean.

We could look at winter's release: Into the Woods.

We could look at last summer's Maleficent.

We could look at the live action Alice in Wonderland film that has a sequel, naturally, coming up.

How many would you like?
Speaking of "into the woods"

Just recently rented it with my wife. Did anyone actually like that movie?

Yes and George Scribner (whose sister in law was one of Frozen's producers) the Imagineer working on the Arrendelle attraction for EPCOT told a group of us on the Disney Wonder last spring the same thing.

I think his exact words were something to the effect of ''So don't be surprised if Tangled or Frozen wind up part of Phil because that's how we designed it.''

(He was the producer of said film, btw.)

They need to give Phil the Spiderman treatment and redo it with higher resolution and more detailed animation. It looks so dated now. If UNI can do it for Spiderman Disney should be able to do it for Phil. But they won't.

WDW watching more and more reminds me of Kremlinology, Or how the rest of the world used to figure out what the USSR was up to by watching who was seen or not seen and what flags and books people were carrying.

I haven't been to Universal but my sister was there for the first time yesterday and she was RAVING about it. Do they have similar problems (long lines/high prices).

Just wondering why WDW has not solved that issue? Is it because attendance and revenues are up? Eventually people won't return of they feel the WDW experience is cheapened and chipped away little by little as prices continue to rise.

WDW is coasting on inertia and WDW is relying on 'one and done' visitors they do not care about repeat business any longer it appears.

There are plenty of people that are suckers too. Buying into it 10 years ago may have been a better idea, if you're buying now you have too much disposable income.
At what dollar amount or % level does someone achieve "too much" disposable income? Accordingly, what gives anyone the right to pass that type of judgement?

I was sitting here trying to figure out who the heck Phil was...then figured it out.

Doesn't that claim run counter to the article from last week/two weeks ago about MM+?

Or is this just all about USF/IOA built Pottey world, but what as WDW done lately??

That was my opinion with a touch of snark. Far be it from me to tell people how to spend their money but if you're still buying into DVC now, you're a fool. Again , just one very handsome man's opinion.
