A Spirited Dirty Dozen ...

Have to agree about Everest, was just down there for a week and I couldn't believe how many headbands were up there. Why would anyone think that's a cool thing to do or a good idea? I think the only way to stop that behavior is escorting the guests straight to the exits.

So this is really a thing now. Collecting magicbands. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Yes. I have a friend who recently explained to me that he "LOVES collecting them!!" Actually, now that I think of it, a lot of my Disney friends collect Magic Bands. I don't see the fascination with collecting them, personally. I'd rather collect pins. But to each their own I guess. (all this coming from the guy who is fixing to buy the recently released Maleficent MB :cautious: But in my defense its the first one I have ever bought)
The only "collection" I have are all the free ones I've gotten.

Also Figment...

If only TDO wasn't so cheap. WDW did bring back the "DisneyParks" Halloween/Fall themed cups they've been using for the past couple years but Disneyland just brought out their new Halloween/Fall design that's specific to Disneyland. Ugh. Does anyone know when the last time WDW had resort specific paper goods?

I saw several people walking around DAK yesterday with those cups.

Okay, some (mostly) positives that I noted.

Resort Signature dining was very good, both food quality and CM performance. (I'd say it was the best part of the trip). Tiffins (which felt like a resort signature) was mostly tremendous. Boma was better then it was last year. And an add on to a resort dining experience was visiting the resort itself, which adds to it... (A nitpick - it seems like the 'new' way to design dining spaces is to install uncomfortable bench seats - obviously they didn't consult with a chiropractor before designing them).

Castmembers mostly were good, some were outstanding. I've mentioned a degree of improvement in some areas of cleanliness. The Magic Kingdom having an attraction lineup that allowed them to have both BTTR and IASW closed and still be worth it (note to TDO - if you have regular maintenance on rides combined with enough attractions, it is an enticement to return to see the attraction the next visit).

Will talk about the issues another time... (and there are some good ones)...

Yes, they are forcing people to pay more for rooms, tickets and food. Gee I wonder how long that goes on before the uninformed say "enough!"? The informed left several years ago leading to the attendance decline, those that are still going are footing the bill for those who left and that will not last for long. Maybe 2018 or so?????
Well, Disney does an amazing job in hidding these price hikes with the "lol free dinning if you take the huge plunge in normal undiscounted hotel prices" or the non stop "up to 30% discount rates on specified hotels!" offers.

Restaurantosaurus at DAK is using the new 2016 Disneyland Halloweentime cups? Are you sure?

Or do you mean Resaurantosaurus was using the Disney Parks branded Halloween cups?
I don't know if it was in emblazoned with the Disneyland name but They were black and orange cups just like the one pictured. There was a fair amount of Disney parks branded Halloween cups floating around as well but the black and orange cups stick out like a sore thumb so they were hard to miss
