This service will be available in limited quantities, at the closest shop of the concerned attraction (no pre-sales), for a €15 flat fee per person per attraction, valid once during the day of purchase, and will come with a souvenir to remember this great experience.

Well, at least you get "a souvenir to remember this great experience"...

Remember when people swore up and down that Disney would never charge for FastPass? Then swore that charging at Shanghai Disneyland was a cultural anomaly? And then swore than charging for additional FastPass+ was somehow different? I can’t wait to hear how this is different.
Or how they are using this a profit generating study to determine how to bring this to more parks? Or how to price SWGE?

Perhaps Disney should reinstitute per-ride pricing, and install Magic Band scanners at the entrances to both lines in order to tabulate your daily fee. Certain attractions like the Hall of Presidents or train ride would still be free, but getting in the standby queue of Pirates would be $3 and the fastpass queue would be $10. Rides with higher demand but low capacity, like Peter Pan would be $25 or more, depending on whether it's a peak season.

Keep the tickets out of it. Using the bands instead of physical tickets they have to acquire and tear will encourage guests to ride more without thinking about the cost. They should also incentize the bands and riding as well- maybe every 5 rides you purchase will grant you a complimentary fastpass upgrade for ride #6.

I believe Tony Baxter once suggested MagicBands could lead to digital ticket books.

23588 per hour. Just for queued attractions alone. Just in Futureworld.

of course, very appropriate to note that doesn't include the hours upon hours one could lose in the dizzying array of exhibits/post shows...
truly remarkable and a complete embarrassment of riches, really... especially in retrospect

too much of too good?

that big, bright, shining tomorrow wasn't a lie. we've seen it!
- but, apparently, we didn't want it. or just weren't ready yet. maybe one day. likely never again.

Or add capacity to the four existing gates first and don’t blow a billion plus on lands with modest capacity.

@marni1971 said FW alone had a massive hourly capacity back in the day.
To be fair, original Future World was all Omnimovers, boats, or moving theaters. While I couldn't (and can't) get enough of lengthy rides like they had in the original Future World, I notice a lot of folks on here cite that as a fault. Also, even with the hourly capacity that OG Future World had, it still wasn't enough to prevent massive lines at least the first year EPCOT Center was open. It was insane.

I really miss it. :(
