A Change In Strategy

I think someone else had said here there would be no thrill attraction coming to MK and the poster was wrong on that, all budget would be allocated for TLM most likely IF it gets the green go. This alone would expand Fantasyland in its back region spreading to toontown. All these different things are swirling in my head though but thats what I thought I read a few pages back.

Maybe the Snow White Coater that I doubt will happen.

I was at first skeptical about the SW coaster dark ride but have since changed my mind. It would allow them to gut the current SW ride and put a Cindy dark ride in. And because of the proximity of the building to the castle they could....:lookaroun....well I'll just say, the walk through at DL would make a great dark ride too.:)

I would be crushed if they gutted SW.:(

I'm sure they would make the Mine Coaster themed and all, but the idea really doesn't sit well with me. If Walt's classic should be portrayed in anyway, it should be in a DR- the classic venue.

And Cindy DR? We need SB! That would rock, with the Dragon and all....:D

The only thing that would squash TLM coming to the Magic Kingdom seems to be Disney wanting it to be exclusive to DCA for a bit. I know that was originally the plan, but my understanding is that Rasulo loves clones as it saves R & D costs. If a thrill ride is coming to the Magic Kingdom, my guess is that it would be instead of TLM, and that part of the "new thinking" we have been hearing about is actually coming to the forefront - new, original experiences at the parks, not just clones from around the world.

I can't imagine that Toontown is big on the list of things that need to be redone. It really is a simple character meeting spot, and I'm not sure they want it to be any more than that.

I'd rather see cash spent somewhere else.

I disagree, have you seen DL's Toontown? Its simply a crime that they get a fantasic version while we get a watered down piece of junk.

Nahhh. Disney should just give up on any type of dragon show element. Once you all see the dragon encounter sequence for the Harry Potter dark ride you'll know what I mean.
Absolutely. Which is another reason to reinstate the dragon cloning of DLs new one.

Did I just say that?? ;)

In my mind, the easiest and most obvious fix for Wonders of Life is, like many others have said, to convert it into a Weather pavillion.

Body Wars can be retrofitted to become a clone of Tokyo Disney Sea's Stormrider, you can have an exhibit for global warming and climate change, and another that simulates different weather conditions. Have it sponsored by one of these up and coming green companies like Vestas (power of the wind!) and BOOM there you go!

All that would be left is a repainting of the Pavillion and maybe a prop on the roof like a weather satilite antena and there you. Pavillion revitalized

Am I the only one not excited about a weather pavilion? I really just think that the idea is OK, coming from a pavilion that was truly informative about fitness and health, a message that we as Americans could truly use today.

Sure, it would be an easier conversion, but I just don't think it will be as wonderful as people envision it as.
