A Change In Strategy

So then, my previous point: A modern, sleek, technological, E Tic existing in the old WoL of 1989?

This is odd. They need two budgets or a bigger one.

Sorry to disappoint but with 30 million you wouldn't get half of an E-Ticket. There is, like Lee said, chance of either Body Wars or Cranium Command being brought back to life in some form. This money might go towards a different project though.

I think there would have to be a WoL refurb budget and an E tic budget. Disney wouldn't put a sparkling new ride into a dilapidated old building...

Exactly what I said! The outside of WoL is fine though...The lanscaping needs help...

At least it is some amount of optimism...

Only time will tell now, but it would ROCK to have an empty pavillion actually USED again for something else than a large boring convention space.

Hopefully it has something to do with Toontown.

I can't imagine that Toontown is big on the list of things that need to be redone. It really is a simple character meeting spot, and I'm not sure they want it to be any more than that.

I'd rather see cash spent somewhere else.

Just throwing this out there for conversation purposes.
Please, do not misconstrue any of this to be a confirmation of anything in the original post.
Regarding the $30million budget figure.
IF the project in question was something like an addition to WoL or a remake/retrofit of BW and/or CC, then the $30mil would be a nice budget if we assume (as the poster said) that figure did not include any work on the actual pavilion.
Purely spent on ride...$30mil can go a pretty long way, even with WDI's penchant for overspending.
Spent on a ride and pavillion refurb....no.

Just tossing that out there....

Who knows, maybe the E-ticket ride and WoL being open are two different points of the same thing (did that make sense?).

Open WoL with some sort of "Dreamy" LCI experience while another pavilion gets fixed, then move the LCI to the other pavilion. (they moved TurtleTalk).
Just throwing that idea out there.

Makes some sense...

Would the LCI be on the WoL Theme?
