I'm happy to report that this did make the final cut, but is not working correctly at the moment. The entire waterfall/50-foot drop light up as well, which is a bonus from what I was expecting. It's currently not timed correctly, but I'll be sure to post a video as soon as it is. My eyes lit up seeing it and I am very happy it made the final plan.
Would love to see this footage... hoping this means the water becomes lit up like that concept art

Does anyone think they might have tried to adjust the shape of the ride vehicles to lessen the soaking factor?

I know nothing about this (am not a water log engineer and never played one on TV). I know only that log rides in general seem to vary in amount of water that hits riders.

I’m hoping to ride Tiana’s later this year, but my wife and kids avoid water rides because they don’t like feeling soggy.

The logs were not changed

The logs don’t look changed to me, but the soak factor is determined by the weight of the log and the angle of the ‘scoop’ on the front. If they wanted to lessen the splash, they would’ve needed to lighten the logs somehow as well as sharpen the angle of the scoop to ‘push’ the water away from riders rather than towards them. Nothing obvious visually seems to have been done, but who knows, they may have sanded the logs to adjust the scoop or found a way to internally lighten them.

Gotcha so now we are at:

On the way to mill house: Down in New Orleans
Mill house and to Slippin Falls: Almost There
How do you do?: Gonna take you there
Laughin Place: ???
Lift & Drop: Dig a little deeper
On the way to the finale: ???
Finale: Original PJ Morton song
I mentioned this a while ago (over 100 pages back), do we have any indication what song plays in the Laughin Place yet?

just speculation so far,,,,I watched a splash video the other day and had forgotten just how much show space, depth and intricate detail was down there, it was incredible.....I just hope they didn't block off/fill all this in, and have actually used it in the same way in terms of the infrastructure of it.

Did I say it was? I’m not sure what point you are trying to make so not sure how ti respond.

I’m against it, but I can’t deny the numbers - adding an IP and a retheme does change the popularity. See Maelstrom, Guardians tower, and Incredicoaster.
Guardians Tower didn't change demand outside of the first half a year. Once the attraction has been open awhile, wait times returned to what they were with TOT.

Mission BO was just a way for them to sell more Marvel merch. And you feel it when you go through the attraction.
