So, I had lots of mixed feelings as if I even wanted to do TR's on these trips. Other than the 2 longer ones the other 4 were really just to visit with a dear friend who had just moved there(I mentioned that in my last TR). She moved from Pittsburgh to about 1/2 hour from Disney. When visiting her I chose to stay at Disney b/c for the most part I was by myself so I felt safer. Also, in my down time when I wasn't visiting her I could go to the parks "for free", so to speak, since I have an AP. I looked at that as a "free" source of entertainment.

Since I really didn't plan on doing TR's for these I don't have great notes. Most of what is going to trigger my memories will be my pictures!!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 12TH

JSR got the same thing as me. E & J got their usuals.

The droid shared with J

Why I got this is beyond me. Esp b/c I really don't care for ice cream!!

That was E's.

And out we went.

As you can tell it had rained during dinner.

The backpack is almost as big as him!!

We went to one of the quiet pools for a bit when we got back.

Sometime during that day E saw these magic bands & bought us each one. I have used mine every trip since she bought it. She has yet to use hers!!

I started my day out with a walk.

It really is a pretty resort!!

Off we go!!

Dinosaur was up first.

Then Everest--which E passed on!!

I guess the guy behind JSR took her place??

FRIDAY, AUGUST 13TH

We hadn't been to Nomad Lounge in quite some time so we decided to go there for lunch.

Someone didn't look so happy!!

For the life of me I have no clue what drinks we ordered.

The charcuterie board was excellent!!

As was everything else!!

I really enjoy this place. It's so nice to relax in the middle of all the hustle of the park!!

We decided to go on the safari before we left.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 13TH

And with that we headed back to Saratoga Springs.

We went to the pool for a few hours.

We got our Garden Grocer order finally straightened out(it only took 4 days!!). We had ordered 2 Starbucks creamers. They only sent 1 but charged us for 2. When we inquired about it they said they would send us another. I had went a couple days before to get it & they sent us cranberry juice instead. Finally they got it right!!

We walked over to DS for dinner.

We were trying something new to all of us!!

I didn't quite care for the fact that there was a table right on the other side of us. I felt like we could see their every move & vice versa. It's kind of uncomfortable, IMO.

A bottle of red....

Bread to start.

We ordered the antipasti tower. This thing was amazing!! I would go back just for this!!

So much food!!

And it was delicious!!

J & JSR had pizzas. I had the Wild Mushroom Orecchiette.

E had a caesar salad.

For a Friday evening DS wasn't too crowded!!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 13TH

We headed back to SSR then I caught an Uber over to OKW to meet my friend @Loco_driver!! Question--do you have any pictures? I don't have one of us together!! Did we just take them with your phone? Feel free to add them in if you have them!!

I believe we both had the Turtle Krawl.

We had a nice time talking. It was great to see him again!!

I brought him some beers from my hometown & showed him that Bucky could be used as an ice bucket also!!

Some neat entertainment was going on that evening!!

This was an absolutely awesome experience!! It was a lot of fun & the CM's are really into it & super helpful!! It's not that bad pricewise if you don't get all the "extras"-which, we did!! I can only imagine that the light saber experience(that R & JC did the month before) is probably just as neat!!

My son loved the Droid experience so much when we were there in April. This was one of his favorite things. And we did all the extras also. It now just sits on his shelf. He's only taken it out of the bag one time in the whole time he's had it.
Still worth it though.

We witnessed a child licking water from the puddles on the ground at Hollywood Studios while the Dad just stood there watching.
I wanted to buy the child a bottle of water. So gross!

So, after you said that I had to look into it a bit further. Now I remember what happened. All along it was my plan to get that. At the last minute, based on the CM's recommendation, I switched to the Rigatoni Calabrese.

It was a great night!

Yes, it was!! So great to see you again!! Lots of fun!!

My son loved the Droid experience so much when we were there in April. This was one of his favorite things. And we did all the extras also. It now just sits on his shelf. He's only taken it out of the bag one time in the whole time he's had it.
Still worth it though.

I think the same goes for J. He never talks about it & I never see it out when I'm at his house. But, I totally agree with you about it being worth it!! It was a really cool experience. I could tell he was really enjoying it & I was having fun also!!

We had an empty bus to HS!!

But HS was not our destination.

Topolino's was!!

I felt so sorry for this poor lady. She had 3 kids running ahead of her, a husband that looked like he was paying her no mind all while she pushed/pulled not 1 but 2 strollers. And one of them was a double!!

We still had some time so we stopped to get a coffee.

The characters were coming out as we were seated.

I decided to try the Tuscan Pear Spritz. It was great!!

Pastries to start.

My drink.

Minnie was playing around a lot.

I got the Spiced Sausage Hash. It was very good!!

J got the Mickey Waffle Dippers.

E & JSR both got the Smoked Salmon. E had it one time before & really liked it.

With breakfast over it was time to head to Epcot.

First stop!!

Just a month prior when we were there you were allowed to enjoy your drinks in the bar. Not anymore!!

We took the customary family photo & left space where C & D would be & sent it to them.
What do you think the guy behind us it up to?

Now you know!!

I seriously considered buying this.

Until I saw how "busy" this side of it was!!

15 minute wait for Soarin' on a Saturday afternoon? We'll take it!!

How does Mission: Space & LWTL have longer waits than Soarin'??

Since we were in the neighborhood we decided to pay Nemo a visit.

I know this is a blurry picture & not TR worthy but, does anyone else get dizzy during this part?

I think this is such a cute picture!!

I think this is a great picture but totally creepy also!!

We came out to rain.

It was coming down pretty hard so we decided to leave.

Here's what happens when you don't take notes--

You forget that these pictures were taken while the weather was still nice.

Although, what is up with this one? Maybe I would have been better off forgetting about it!!

Before we actually left J & I took a spin on Mission: Space.

And, at some point, while the weather was still nice I finally found this stand to be open!!

This was the place where E told me to get the Limoncello the month before & when I got there it was closed.

Not today!!

Ok, now we're leaving!!
