Trip Report 30 Disney First's to Celebrate my 30th Birthday! January '13 Trip Report.

Hellooooo Humans! Welcome to my 30th birthday trip report. On this trip it was myself, my mom, my nanny and my best friend joined in for a few days! He will be making his first appearance in my trip reports.

A little preview of my birthday photo shoot!

And some MGM, I mean Hollywood Studios love!

Funny story goes with this picture when we get to that day!

We stayed at Pop Century from January 13th-20th. We had a preferred pool view, because my nanny said that she needed a good view. Not that she spent much time taking advantage of the view. LOL.

We had free dining, but also had quite a few meals that we paid for out of pocket using my Tables in Wonderland card. We had 12 meals booked in total. I was using my Annual Pass again, so was my mom. My nanny used our tickets from the free dining package.

We pre-purchased the PhotoPass+. Overall I enjoyed it. I loved having my pictures from the meals and Buzz Lightyear.

Over the course of the trip, we noticed that there were a lot of firsts happening. Thus, the title of this here trip report! I will try to remember to highlight each first in pink. Maybe ya'll can help me count along. We may even reach more than 30!

I loved the milkshakes are delish here.

This was our first plate of dinner. When the waitress sat it down, I made a comment to my mom about there being no smoked sausage on the plate. See, that's why I booked us dinner here. Last time we had lunch here it was my favorite. So, I had to have it again. When the waitress came back, I asked her about the smoked sausage. She said they no longer had it, paused for a few seconds and then said just kidding, it will be out on the next plate. She then says, "But your face was priceless." So now everyone was laughing at how upset I was that I thought there was no smoked sausage. LOL.

Dessert was not the best here. I just had another milkshake for dessert. My nanny joked with the waitress, saying that her milkshake would have been better with a shot of something in it. When the waitress brought out my nanny's refill, she had put a shot of some liquor in it. No charge! This waitress was awesome.

The waitress had me stand up with my cupcake while the whole room sang happy birthday to me. When it was time for me to make a wish, she said that there was no need. My wish had already come true, to be sung happy birthday to by a room full of strangers.

One last picture for the night. I was still fighting that migraine. So we made our way back to Pop. My best friend and I hung out for a few and then I passed out for the night. I was soo ready for a full nights sleep.

We have added 3 more firsts to the list, bringing me up to 17 firsts!

Didn't notice you updated this!!! :)

Isn't that great when you have early reservations and they bring you straight to the resort? That has happened a few times to my mom and I going to Chef Mickey's. It's so nice when they do that!

Glad you had a great Animal Kingdom safari! That is always hit or miss sometimes!

And sorry you had a migraine :( I bet that was no fun, but I am happy you sticked it out! I loved Whispering Canyon when we went there for dinner! It was so fun over there!

So happy you got to see your friend too!!!!! Now finish this report! haha :)

It was great, being brought straight to Chef Mickey's. Just made us very early.

I love the Safari, even when it's not so great.

Thankfully, I have only had a few migraines while in Disney. I am usually able to catch them before they get to bad.

Whispering Canyon is delish! And so much fun. :hungry:

He took off three days to spend with me for my birthday! :D

I'm uploading pics now! :p

It was very funny explaining meeting Shannon to my nanny.

I agree! I wish I had unlimited milkshakes right now! We are eating there again in May for breakfast and dinner. I wonder if I can get the milkshake at breakfast too! :hungry:

This was borderline cruelty! ;).......Can you tell I love me some of 'dem smoked sausages too!??

The third day brought us back to Hollywood Studios. No early breakfast for us this morning. We still made it to Hollywood Studios before opening. While I made my way to get FP for Toy Story, my mom and nanny stopped for a Photopass.

Once I got to Toy Story, I realized that the FP was not going to work for us. It was for right in the middle of lunch. Then I remembered that we didn't need the FP, we had the GAC for my mom. So we went straight through the line, to the handicapped line. We had to wait a few moments for the group in front of us to board. But we were soon on our way.

I've always loved Mary Poppins. I have a greater appreciation for the movie after seeing Saving Mr Banks. That movie was amazing. I can't wait to see it again.

Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?

It was time for lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe.

I love the theme at 50's. I've always wanted a kitchen that looks like the ones here.

Time to be seated. There was only one other table with guests in our kitchen. The rest were empty. It was nice to have so much attention from the cousins.

Delish!

Lunch was Mom's Sampler. Except I didn't get the fried chicken. I got extra meatloaf and pot roast. I love this dish.

Cupcake number 2 of the day!

My cousins sang Happy Birthday to me, very off key. It was hilarious.

We now made our way over to the Backlot Tour. I know alot of people don't like this ride, but we love it. It's not what it used to be, but I still enjoy the current version.

They didn't have anyone in the water today, because it was too chilly.

Hannah Montana's chicken coop! Now, don't everyone get excited at once.

At this point I had to hide my camera. The water was coming into the tram. My whole left side was soaked when I got off the ride. They should really tone down the amount of water, especially during the colder months.

Looks it's the plane again.

During the ride, I got a text from the bestie, saying that he made his way into the park. He was going to meet us right outside the exit. But first we made a pit stop.

Mike!

With one I!

We made our way over to Toy Story again. This was my first time using the push button control. I really like it!

I had best in vehicle again! Trust me, it won't be that way in May. My brother kicks all of our butts.

Have ya'll seen the trailer for Maleficent? OMG! I had chills. That song! If I heard that song being sung, I would follow that voice anywhere. And her laugh at the end of the trailer, I shivered a little. LOL.

My nanny watching the Citizens of Hollywood.

For you Jess, @PartOfYourWorld

Okay girls, time to swoon. Gaston is so dreamy! At least until he starts talking!
