Trip Report 30 Disney First's to Celebrate my 30th Birthday! January '13 Trip Report.

Hellooooo Humans! Welcome to my 30th birthday trip report. On this trip it was myself, my mom, my nanny and my best friend joined in for a few days! He will be making his first appearance in my trip reports.

A little preview of my birthday photo shoot!

And some MGM, I mean Hollywood Studios love!

Funny story goes with this picture when we get to that day!

We stayed at Pop Century from January 13th-20th. We had a preferred pool view, because my nanny said that she needed a good view. Not that she spent much time taking advantage of the view. LOL.

We had free dining, but also had quite a few meals that we paid for out of pocket using my Tables in Wonderland card. We had 12 meals booked in total. I was using my Annual Pass again, so was my mom. My nanny used our tickets from the free dining package.

We pre-purchased the PhotoPass+. Overall I enjoyed it. I loved having my pictures from the meals and Buzz Lightyear.

Over the course of the trip, we noticed that there were a lot of firsts happening. Thus, the title of this here trip report! I will try to remember to highlight each first in pink. Maybe ya'll can help me count along. We may even reach more than 30!

LOL you never know!

Its been a while since I've been to 1900 Park Fare...and it won't be anytime sooon when I go back lOL.

I'm sure he's probably been there when I've stayed...but probably never crossed paths with him I guess

I much prefer breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. My brother love the Mad Hatter so its a great breakfast for him. Between the Mad Hatter, Alice and Mary Poppins there are always great interactions.

I'm sure he has been there, you just didn't know who to look for. LOL.

I love that you all had your hair cut at the barber shop. I had mine cut there last year I believe. And I also had them add the confetti and pink tint to the top. I loved it. Although, at times I had the confetti all over the place .

Nothing beats having your hair cut at 'Disney's Barber Shop!'

The confetti does get everywhere. But it is so much fun! Have you ever been pixie dusted? In Castle Couture, they will sprinkle you with pixie dust while saying a special spell. It is super cute, but very messy. LOL. I still love it!

I'm caught up! Finally had a few minutes to sit down and not do laundry. Lol. I will definitely be following along!

I hope to have more up soon, but you know how long it takes me to do a trip report!

YAY!!! So glad you started this!!!

I see in your castle pictures that Dream Along was going on. Now, you know how that makes me cry! I teared up just seeing it in your pics! Can I just say, when we were leaving MK for the last time after the girls cruise, we stopped in some stores on the way out and the Confectionary was our last stop. I got my cookies, walked outside and stopped on the sidewalk only to hear Mickey say "You've always been a Princess to me!" AS IF it weren't sad enough I was leaving to go home, I had to step outside and hear THAT?! What are the odds I would walk out while Mickey was saying THE ONE THING in that show that makes me cry?! Yeah.. I pretty much lost it after that. I was a mess!!

1900 and no step-sisters?! What's up with that?!? The step-mother though, she was the one we had in May at the parks who was trying to pawn my cousin off on one of the daughters. She rode with us on the carousel. It was pretty cool and she was hilarious!

Where does your friend work at Pop? I will be there one night in November. I'll look for him!! :)

Every time I hear Dream Along, or see it, I think of you! I think Mickey wasn't ready for you to leave. He was trying to quilt you into staying longer! I'm always a mess when I leave. It's a double whammy for me though. I have to say goodbye to my happy place and my best friend at the same time. It sucks!

My nanny was not happy that the step sisters weren't there. She did enjoy the step mother though. The first time my nanny came with us, we met the step sisters and mother. My nanny had to video them, that's how funny they were. They were very upset that they did not receive an invitation to my birthday. Asking where the cake was, telling me not to spend my birthday with Cinderella. The step mother then got mad when I asked the three to sign on one page. She was not happy about that at all. LOL.

He works in the gift shop, doing package pick up usually. Remind me when it gets closer and I'll find out his schedule for you. You can go tell him that I said HI! He always gets confused when I send someone to do that. He'll be texting me, asking me who the hell was that you sent in here! LOL

For anyone keeping track we are up to six firsts.

Our first full day started with an early, pre park opening, breakfast at Crystal Palace. Pre park opening ADR's are my favorite. I love walking through a semi-empty park. And the pictures are awesome that time of the morning!

I visited Uncle Walt before breakfast.

Breakfast was wonderful as usual. Pooh's Puffed French Toast was the best part of breakfast, but the goes without saying. LOL.

Winnie the Pooh with my autograph cards, that I still haven't done anything with. Any suggestions?

Jess, you could scrapbook the autographs along with a picture or two or three to go with it on the page...
I did a two page layout for CP with the autographs and a picture next to it....
You could have a scrapbook for just autographs and decorate the first page of each trip with the reason of going... Example..Birthday...When we went it was MK 4oth, Food & Wine & MNSSHP ..
Just my two cents:D
Lovin' the report, can't wit for more!

Dangit, now I have a rumbly in my tumbly.

Sorry I made you hungry! LOL. I always get hungry looking at Disney food pics. Imagine how bad it got when I was editing all of them!

I was thinking of doing something like that. I just don't know what to with the pages afterward, I have never done scrapbooking before. What do you do with the finished pages?

Do you have a craft store nearby? We have a Michael's & AC Moore here..also maybe your Walmart (ours here does not) might also sell them and we have Joann's craft store but its small...They have a black Mickey scrapbook 12x12 size. You create the pages and slip them into the sleeves. The books come with one set (12 plastic clear sleeves) and you can add one or two at the most sets of refills. There are all types of adhesives to use, as well as all kinds of Disney stickers, papers, etc. I can't speak for Hobby Lobby as we do not have that store around here. Also, there are places on line to order from too.

We made our way over to Fantasyland to ride our customary first ride. It's A Small World!

New Fantasyland was our next stop! This would be my first time really exploring New Fantasyland. I had been to Enchanted
Tales with Belle
before it had officially opened.

Gaston was awaiting my arrival. He asked what I had done so far this morning. I told him that we had breakfast and before I could get anything else out he said "Then came to see me? Great choice!" He was hilarious and hot! Boy, was he hot! This was my first time meeting Gaston. He was one of my favorites from the trip.

This was my first time on the Little Mermaid. I had purposely avoided seeing any pictures or video of the ride. I wanted to experience it for the first time in person. I loved the ride. The music was great and Ariel and Eric in the Kiss the Girl scene were awesome! Some of my favorites ever! I loved when we "dipped" under the sea.

Your Gaston photos are awesome! I keep hearing what great meet and greet he is and now I wish we would have planned to see him while we were there this past summer. That is definitely something I will do next time! ;)

Of course we had to visit Ariel next! She asked me about my birthday cake. If it was going to be seaweed cake with seaweed frosting, cuz that's her favorite! This was my first time meeting Ariel in her new home. I loved the all the light fixtures in line.

Winnie the Pooh was our next stop.

Then it was time for my first ride on New Dumbo!

Next we went to meet Minnie and Daisy. This was my first time meeting under the big top. I love this area. I absolutely love Minnie's pink dress and her poodles!
