Trip Report 30 Disney First's to Celebrate my 30th Birthday! January '13 Trip Report.

Hellooooo Humans! Welcome to my 30th birthday trip report. On this trip it was myself, my mom, my nanny and my best friend joined in for a few days! He will be making his first appearance in my trip reports.

A little preview of my birthday photo shoot!

Funny story goes with this picture when we get to that day!


We stayed at Pop Century from January 13th-20th. We had a preferred pool view, because my nanny said that she needed a good view. Not that she spent much time taking advantage of the view. LOL.

We had free dining, but also had quite a few meals that we paid for out of pocket using my Tables in Wonderland card. We had 12 meals booked in total. I was using my Annual Pass again, so was my mom. My nanny used our tickets from the free dining package.

We pre-purchased the PhotoPass+. Overall I enjoyed it. I loved having my pictures from the meals and Buzz Lightyear.

Over the course of the trip, we noticed that there were a lot of firsts happening. Thus, the title of this here trip report! I will try to remember to highlight each first in pink. Maybe ya'll can help me count along. We may even reach more than 30!

This was my bestie's first time getting character autographs. It was fun getting them together.

Minnie was next! In her pink!

Unfortunately, Goofy was busy helping Max with homework and would not be back out for awhile. Donald was ready and waiting for us, though.



Donald was reading my shirt. It was taking him awhile to figure out what it said.

He finally got it!

Then we had to sing and dance.



Donald was so funny. He had to let everyone know it was my Birthday.

We headed over to the Little Mermaid next. On the way there was a Photopass guy taking pictures with either Castle in the background. Well, I wanted both! This was my first time taking Photopass pictures in Fantasyland, much less with the Beast's Castle. These took quite awhile to take, because it was setup right in the middle of a walkway. Not the smartest spot for Photopass.



My hair was just not behaving.

It was time to meet the Mouse himself, Mickey! On! My! Birthday!

Okay, so maybe I was a little excited.

Actually, I was more than a little excited.

Shhhh, don't tell Minnie. I don't think she would be very happy with me.







Of course I had to visit the Princesses next.





Rapunzel asked if I was having the best day ever. I told her, how could I not be! I was in my happy place on my Birthday!

Aurora asked about my birthday cake.

She wanted to know if I had any Fairies helping make my cake. I told her that there was no worries in that department.





Cinderella had seen my bestie's shirt and asked where the best friend was.

So, of course, she had to read my shirt.



She loved the shirt, too! I had yet to meet someone who didn't love the shirts.

While we were busy meeting Mickey and the Princesses, my mom and nanny had gone back to Pop to get jackets for us. It had gotten cold very quickly. By the time they made it back to Magic Kingdom it was time for dinner. Dinner tonight was another first. Be Our Guest!





I was so excited to be eating dinner in the Beast's Castle tonight. I was very lucky to get this ADR at a decent time on my actual Birthday. I booked this meal on the day they first started allowing anyone to book Be Our Guest.



He looks so sad. Like he needs a hug.

We were seated in the West Wing!

It was very difficult to take pictures in the West Wing. I tried my best.







Even the bread was delish.

My nanny had the pork chop.

My bestie had the salmon.

My mom and I had the steak.

Everyone enjoyed their dinner. My steak was delish. The pomme frites and au gratin macaroni was also very good. I can't wait to have some more in May. It was now time for dessert.

I tried the Grey Stuff!!!!!! Trust me it was delish!!!!!

I had the triple chocolate cupcake for desert. It was very very good!

At this point the bestie had to head on home. He had work early the next morning.



We made our way to Town Square to watch the Main Street Electrical Parade. I was so excited to see the parade on my Birthday!

My mom and nanny were quite cold. This was the first time we had ever used a wheelchair. My mom just needed one for the night.

I loved seeing Eliot on my birthday. I was so glad he was in the parade tonight. I have seen the parade a few times when he didn't make it.

Wishes! Dream a Dream!



This was my first time watching Wishes from underneath the train station. It was so cold and windy that we were standing under there to try to keep somewhat warm.

I definitely cried at this point. Here I was watching Wishes on my 30th Birthday! It was perfect!



We were on the bus on the way back to Pop already. I could not have asked for a better Birthday. I spent the day in my happy place with my mom, my nanny and my bestie. I met many characters, that all wished me a Happy Birthday. I had breakfast at my favorite, Crystal Palace. Dinner at a brand new favorite place, Be Our Guest. I saw the opening show, Dream Along with Mickey, Celebrate a Dream Come True, Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes all on my 30th Birthday!

For everyone keeping track, we have added another 8 firsts. Bringing the total to 30 firsts!! We made the 30 firsts by my 30th Birthday!!!!!!
