Trip Report 30 Disney First's to Celebrate my 30th Birthday! January '13 Trip Report.

Hellooooo Humans! Welcome to my 30th birthday trip report. On this trip it was myself, my mom, my nanny and my best friend joined in for a few days! He will be making his first appearance in my trip reports.

A little preview of my birthday photo shoot!

And some MGM, I mean Hollywood Studios love!

Funny story goes with this picture when we get to that day!

We stayed at Pop Century from January 13th-20th. We had a preferred pool view, because my nanny said that she needed a good view. Not that she spent much time taking advantage of the view. LOL.

We had free dining, but also had quite a few meals that we paid for out of pocket using my Tables in Wonderland card. We had 12 meals booked in total. I was using my Annual Pass again, so was my mom. My nanny used our tickets from the free dining package.

We pre-purchased the PhotoPass+. Overall I enjoyed it. I loved having my pictures from the meals and Buzz Lightyear.

Over the course of the trip, we noticed that there were a lot of firsts happening. Thus, the title of this here trip report! I will try to remember to highlight each first in pink. Maybe ya'll can help me count along. We may even reach more than 30!

On my way out, I hear someone call out aren't you Jesemeca? It was @Ariel484. Shannon, it was great meeting you, even if it was just for a minute. She wished me Happy Birthday and then we went our seperate ways. It was hilarious trying to explain this to my nanny. My nanny kept asking how that girl knew who I was and why did she call me Jesemeca. It took a good 20 minutes for her to figure it out. LOL.

From here we took the train around to Frontierland.

Time to visit my man, Jack Sparrow!

So this is love, so this is what makes life devine...

After the parade, we needed to get out of the sun for awhile. We decided on the TTA. We were the first car! I've never been in the first car before. It was neat being able to get a picture with no other cars on the tracks.

It was now time to head over to dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. One of my faves!

At last I see the light......

My mom and nanny went back to the room after dinner. I made my way over to the smoking section in front of the Plaza for MSEP and Wishes. I started talking to the guy working the rope for the special viewing section. I asked him how were you able to sit down there. Through the course of the conversation he saw my button and asked if I was by myself tonight. I told him everyone else left. He offered, that as long as the section was not full, I could watch Celebrate the Magic and Wishes from the special viewing section. Right before Celebrate the Magic started, he snuck me under the rope. In between shows he came over to ask me how I liked the view. He was such a wonderful Cast Member. I'm so glad I decided to stand over there to watch the shows. So this was the first time watching the shows from here.

It was a great view. No crowd to bother me, leaning on the railing. I loved this spot and would love to be able to stand in this spot again.

On my way out the park, the line for Mickey was very short. So I decided to jump in the line. Within 5 minutes Mickey and I were catching up!

That's the end of day 1! We are now at 14 firsts for the trip. We may even make it over the 30 mark!

I'm glad you have an obsession with light fixtures in Ariel's Grotto as well :)
Don't you just love her new meeting place?

That was super nice of that cast member to let you sit down there. So you never said why...how do people get that section???

Her new meeting place is sooo cute!

Supposedly there is a way to get a seat down there if you book dinner at Chef Mickey's. It is also a perk for Canadian travelers using there CAA card. (Similar to our AAA)

Interesting...I never knew that....they should make that spot into a fastpass spot.

Our second day started out bright and early for breakfast at Chef Mickey's. It was so early it was still dark out when we got to the bus stop.

We were going to take the Magic Kingdom bus and then the monorail to the Contemporary. While on the bus, we started talking to the driver. Since we were the only people on the bus, he took us straight to the Contemporary. This was my first time having a bus to myself and having the bus take me directly to the hotel for breakfast. Because of this, we were early for our reservation. We had a quick look around and then we were the second family seated.

Breakfast!

I love the chef outfits.

Another cupcake for breakfast!

We did a little shopping. Sucked that we had to carry it around all day. I did not realize that they would not ship it to Pop. At least I know for next time.

After breakfast, we hopped on the monorail and headed on over to the Poly. I love all the Tiki people throughout the Poly. We shopped for a few minutes before heading to the bus stop.

He's my favorite. I love how he is peeking through the window!

We made our way to the bus stop.

Flamingos!

Even the lions were out and about. Ok, maybe not about, but they were out where we could see them. LOL.

He was getting a little too close for comfort.

We headed over to the Lion King show. My best friend was on his way in the park. He made it to us in the show with like 2 minutes to spare. This was our first time watching Lion King together!

Tumbler monkeys! My faves!

Can you feel the love tonight?

Hottie! I must have taken a dozen pictures of this guy.

Around this time I was beginning to get a headache. As usual, when I'm in Disney, I push myself too far. It was slowly becoming a migraine, yet I refused to go back to the room.

PhotoPass time with the bestie!

We made our way over to Hollywood Studios. Where I took exactly 3 pictures with my own camera. You know I must have been sick.

Lunch time at Pizza Planet. The pizza was delicious, but the noise was hell on my migraine.

I love my shadow pic with the bestie!

At this point I went to first aid. This was my first time visiting a first aid. They had a cot set up in a cold, dark and quiet area of the building. I got an ice pack and slept for about 45 minutes. Until Mulch, Sweat and Shears started up right outside the first aid building. Whoever thought that was a great place for them to begin, didn't think things through very well. Anyway, it was now time for dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe.
