TimeTrip - thanks for that panarama - I`m keeping that one. Sniff!

DarkMeasures - there isn`t that much room behind the `Haus - you have the main north parking lot for utillities (and gold passes?), plus the main Utilidor entrance. On top of that, IASW and HM take up a lot of room, then you are on top of the railroad and the canal (so any construction outside of the railroad would be a MAJOR job). However, the 20k lagoon and showbuilding take up so much room (if you compare Space Mountain to 20k`s total area on a satellite image the lagoon has got to go back at least 350 - 400ft, and be almost as wide) so there is a lot of space to be used here. Eventually.

Construction walls should have supposedly been put up. Photos will be appreciated if somebody has been to MK today. :)

I just had a nice little bird whisper in my ear.
The 20K reclamation will indeed take about 7 months.

Whan that is done, they have more demolition in mind.
Jump and shout.......and say goodbye to .....the Indy Speedway.
If my source, who would probably know, is correct the speedway will be pulled out soon after the lagoon. A major e-ticket for the MK could be announced within the next year to 18 months.

In other, unrelated news, the news I posted last week about the Epcot wand coming down is still looking good. A rumor I had heard, which was somewhat confirmed today, is that when the wand is gone, a sophisticated globe projection will be used on the sphere at night.

Interesting times.....

The only thing I am thinking of right now is Toontown. 20K next to Toontown. Speedway next to Toontown.

I really hope not. . . I wouldn't mind seeing Speedway OR the lagoon gone *so long as!* the areas are replaced with aesthetically beneficial areas THEMED well, and with a TRUE E-Ticket spirit.

No half-done Mission Spaces. And no Meet and Greets. We need FULL quality - - and originality.

Awesome news...thanks Lee. The Magic Kingdom is definitely due for an E-Ride and if they need this much space, it must be huge...any ideas on whether it will be a Fantasyland or Tomorrowland E-Ride?

FINALLY! Thank god. Even if it's a nice park and they add more room for people to move through (espcially with the huge bottle neck that happens infront of Pooh every day) would be a huge plus.

Hallelujah! I eagerly await the return of a Spaceship Earth projection system and the demise of that forsaken wand once and for all! :sohappy: Again, wonderful, excellent news! :D :sohappy:

Theme whats that? We will just make everything fast with large drops and the people will enjoy it...:( .... I feel the way that you do Grizz that all rides need to be well themed but it just seems that they lost direction with this..

The Speedway gone? Does this mean no one will mind if I pop the track now? I'll drive the car around the park and race the train.

And hooray.

And I wish I had ridden 20K before it went down. I have never been. Can anyone describe what happens on it? Is it more or less like the movie?
