A few of these are Antarctic and not Arctic, but I think we could still be inspired by the style for our Northwest Passage land.

Also, what should our land name be? Just Northwest Passage or something original relating to it.

Also also, what should our park be? I was thinking either Disney's Worlds of Wonder or Disney's Lost Kingdoms

What about Arctic Passage? Something slightly more general compared to the actual location.

Also, I really like Disney's Lost Kingdoms as a park name. It evokes more of an adventurous mood, like you're heading out into incredible places that had faded away into the realm of legend and myth.

Alright, I redesigned the map for V2. What should I add/remove/change.

I made the animal stuff all take up one corner area near the lagoon so I could use that water to fuel the exhibits, as well as the river that flows through the land.

I put the museum boat docked in the river, with the rest of the stuff on either side.

I also just realized I drew the TS restaurant upside-down...

Here’s an idea for the story behind the land:

A group of adventurous travelers stumbled across the passage during their travels across the Arctic. Somehow, the Arctic animals that were thought to be extinct were thriving in this environment and something within the icebergs was causing this place to be frozen in time. It’s only a matter of days until you become a relic of history yourself as the laws of time don’t abide to logic in the Northern passage...

This is fantastic, but I'd greatly appreciate it if the extinct animals are kept out of the land itself (the backstory is ok). I'm planning it as a big moment for the attraction and the reason for traveling so far out in the wilderness.

That's a neat idea. Like, something about this passage serves as a gateway to these different legendary worlds with the main clue being the mysterious obelisk.

That will be the key mystery within the story. The missing link, if you will. After experiencing the attraction, hopefully guests can piece together the plot.

Ooooh I can work with this. I have an idea...

By the way, who should be the main research group involved in this land's backstory? I know it was mentioned to avoid using S.E.A., but what if it were an off-shoot devoted to trying to uncover the truth in ancient legends?

What I am thinking:

If they are explorers, why not have them go exploring for the land?

On this test page, I have uploaded a little under half of an old map of the Arctic Circle. Using a riddle at the start, what if they had to click on the section of the map that led them to the intro of the land (in this current case, the yellow island in the middle. Clicking it takes you to the Wiki page of the Arctic Circle.). It has a super seamless transition between the individual images and "immerses" the people on the site more since they have to be explorers themselves to find the explorers base!

The one downside: it only works on desktop. It wouldn’t size properly on mobile (or look good)

It seems too wide for me. We already have a wide entrance land with HarborTown.

To alleviate this, how about having it set in an ice canyon??? It would lead into a small "base camp" and then each of the other lands we make would be buried under the ice, sort-of like the film Ice Age 2.

Just a thought!

Seconded! Something like this would be amazing!

I’m having a little trouble picturing it? Would we be able to fit all this stuff into a canyon or would we have to make cuts?

I don’t know how an ice breaker museum in the river could fit thematically in an ice canyon, or a research base shop.

Maybe y’all could draw out a map and show off what you mean just so I could have a better picture. I’m not opposed, I just don’t know how to fit it in in my head
