Will do then haha! Also Disney needs to make a show called Disney's Noun, I'd watch it daily
I think you'll appreciate this logo I made for Mumbai Disneyland in SAVI for another common type of stage show before we settled on a name lol

Oh yeah for sure, the Dreams show is great and I really want to check and see if the others are on youtube now. They're quite intriguing plots! Maybe I will give mini reviews here along the way. Only part I don't like is the VERY generic names a lot of them have.
Quite a few of them are. Tangled even got an official release on YouTube.

@Pi on my Cake if you ever do a video on Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular, you absolutely HAVE to mention that DeeDee Magno (Pearl from Steven Universe) was the original Jasmine. Really trippy just how much massive talent has passed through the Hyperion over the years.

I actually had that mentioned in my script and recorded it! But it felt like it made the wrap up drag on a bit too long, so I focused on the Genie stuff because of the parallels to the Fairy Godmother. Disney needs more theaters with crazy high standards for talent like the Hyperion!

Fairy Godmother (Well Okay it's the blue fairy but still plays the same role)? Check. Girl who is (briefly) uncertain about dreams? Check. Intro that mentions this happening once before? Check.
Welp folks, we got it. The official sequel to the best musical: Steps in Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

happy fairly oddparents GIF

But in all seriousness this thing does everything that Steps in Time tried to do complete with a story all about believing in dreams but does it much better. First of all it's cohesive which is always a plus. The relationship between Peter Pan and Ann is charming, they have a bit of a rivalry but it isn't overplayed like the one that the fairy godmother and Alex (I think I only remember his name because of the Under the Sea segment tbh) had. A whole new world is still sung, but the child character doesn't sing with Aladdin and it's very very brief. Also key words here: The child is played by an adult actress, so way less awkward, plus Aladdin himself singing it is better than the uhh... very adult fairy. I also like how the main character leads herself to finding more about dreams and exploring these worlds rather than having to be lead all the time by Peter Pan, which is a plus compared to people just having to question how Alex learned his lesson when he basically was just tossed into random situations by someone else. The song segments are also better spaced apart as multiple from one movie is put in to tell a small story, which helps the pacing a bit and the transitions actually make sense this time! There's also a better incentive for keeping dreams in this as well compared to Steps in Time: that being her wanting to fly and the fear of growing up. Which is a whole lot better than keeping dreams because.... you're fighting with your brother? Yeah I don't get it.

Overall a very charming play, very cute and everything Steps in Time should have been.

However, Under the Sea isn't a fever dream in this, therefore reduces all goodness points 0/10

Sounds amazing, but Under the Sea won't make me feel like I'm way too high? Pass :p

What if one of us was super famous and no one knew?

Like, what if one day @NateD1226 suddenly posts a picture and says, "Hey guys, I'm Chris Evans. This has been a fun way to destress between filming Avengers movies"

What if @pix was Tom Hanks?

@Outbound could be Jessica Biel and we would NEVER KNOW!
Ok you caught me, I am really the couch with headlights from Steps in Time

Also, if anyone missed it...

1 Sentence Comp has started! Halfway through the first round! Anyone can hop in and out whenever they would like!
Scene One
A Greater Escape

You're an aspiring Imagineer in an elevator with Disney's CEO, Bob Chapek. You overhear him on the phone talking with Imagineers about a problem in the parks.

-The Problem-
Stitch's Great Escape has finally been officially closed for good, but any replacement project has failed to get off the ground. Now this prime piece of real estate right near the center of the Magic Kingdom is just going to waste.

Screen%2520Shot%25202016-07-10%2520at%25202.45.49%2520AM.png

There isn't much time left in this elevator ride, but now is your chance to impress the Big Cheese and propose a solution that will earn you a place in the Imagineering Hall of Fame!

-The Prompt-
Propose a solution!
A new attraction to fill the space left behind by Stitch's Great Escape
Remember, this is a small space, so the replacement has to be small scale too.

-Rules-
You may use between 1 and 3 sentences and up to 1 picture.
The deadline will be at 11:59 PM EST on Monday, October 5th

-tips-

K.I.S.S - Keep it simple, silly.
This is an elevator pitch, not a full project!
It isn't about more detail, it is about the right details!

-Judging Criteria-
Is it creative?
Is it realistic?
Does it fit thematically/visually?

Good Luck everyone! Have fun! Go create!
