Both are objectively bad in different ways but the two best (only good) segments (Snow White medley and Beauty and the Beast) were cut from the second version

Oh yeah for sure, though tbh I actually like the final song....just not like the weird presentation it has. Also the intro of the first version is so much better it hurts (though the mom and dad effect in the second version is kinddddddddddddddaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa cool). I have so much to say about this show I could write an essay, but I'm not gonna write something super long until I get all my thoughts together haha.

The cast is incredible! Even the kid isn't bad for being a literal child! They're just in a show that's terrible! But like you said, it has good parts and I can't say there wasn't passion. It was just micromanaged to crap and had an incredibly rushed production

Oh yeah for sure a couple of the songs were pretty decent on their own and the cast did a great job singing and dancing to them but the presentation is just indescribable. I did a "live reacting" to a friend who wasn't watching with me and he was totally lost because I simply couldn't explain what I was seeing. How am I supposed to describe a bunch of people in fish heads dancing to "Under the sea" while a kid on screen swims and then monstro the whale shows up and not look like a crazy person? With writing like that they should've known it wouldn't have worked from day 1.

Also, I totally forgot to plug the “latest” video I worked on...



I pitched this idea to Jake and then almost instantly regretted it. Outside of one great YouTube video briefly discussing each discussed sequel, there wasn’t a ton of information about a lot of this (and no clear timeline). The research took days to complete as I had to scour forums and newspapers to try and piece a timeline together.

Outside of one pronunciation mistake, the research and timeline I made appears to be correct. It’s easily my most favourite episode I’ve ever worked on!

(And the craziest part was I did all this research at the same time as being the Project Manager of the Critter Country re-theme for SYWTBAI where our team won. That was a good week ;) )

I'd rather they would have replaced Pteranodon Flyers and the TE site with that new mountain that's coming to Beijing, and move the Raptor Encounter to where it is now.

Smart. Unless the vaccine is out soon and is widely taken and has incredible effectiveness a crowded convention crammed full of people into a poorly ventilated indoor space just for a fan expo where the biggest draws are close up interactions is probably not a good idea for the next year. Especially if we do hit the second big wave most experts are expecting by the end of the year.

I think a lot of things will be able to go mostly back to normal (but probably with masks) pretty early in 2021. But large conventions like that are gonna take some time I'd imagine.

I hope they do an online fan event like DC did with the Fandome once it is more clear when movie and TV production/releases are gonna be reliable.
