only a vague memory - maybe someone can help!

No, it was just the one wall on the right. I *think* it was green. It was around the time that they were constructing the Fantasmic Theater.

only a vague memory - maybe someone can help!

In 1997 there was a construction wall at the entrance to the Studios. David Copperfield was supposed to have a restaurant/attraction there, and there was a construction wall announcing this "coming attractin". As you walked up from the boat launch to Epcot/Resorts, it was on the right. I did...

Step by Step from WDW today

Sabrina the Teenage Witch also went to WDW, the year the Animal Kingdom opened. Does the fact that I know this make me a dork?

    Burger Places

I had a hot dog at the equivalent of the Haus at Disneyland Paris...and it was absolutely horrible! I love baguettes, but not as a bun for a hot dog! And they had put little tiny fried onion strings all over it. Blech! The burger I had there was just okay.

    mkt is going to DC!

If you only have a couple of days, I would highly recommend the evening tour. Many people don't like tours, including myself, but we only had two days and my husband had never been to DC. So this bus tour picked us up around 7pm at our hotel, and along with about 30 other people, we visited...

    Disappointed with Disney Travel

At this point, I wouldn't count them out as far as making travel arrangements. From what I understand, they are in talks about filing bankruptcy but haven't actually done it. Many of the major airlines have filed bankruptcy in the past few years and have managed to pull out and be fine. US...

    team disney?

Team Disney is corporate offices for WDW...accounting, research, etc. There's a cafeteria, Company D store and there used to be a branch of the credit union. It also is the home of the world's largest sun dial (not sure if "largest" is still official though). Very boring actually.

    Calling All Scrapbookers

I've been scrapbooking for about two years now...being the obsessive-compulsive person than I am, I am scrapbooking everything chronologically. I started with 1999 and have worked my way up to late 2002. Here's the problem: I have made so many trips to WDW, that's where the bulk of my...

Little things you love to take home!

In years past, I saved absolutely everything...napkins, pens, magazines, leaflets in the room and in the lobby of the resort. I've since had a major simplification change in my life and household, so now I only keep things that I will put in my scrapbook. HOWEVER, my mother is the queen of...

    Anyone stay at POR-Riverside???

Port Orleans Riverside is by far my favorite WDW resort. And I absolutely love Alligator Bayou. I like the rustic feel of the place, the room decor, the foliage, and the look of the buildings. Magnolia Bend is okay too, but I'll always choose Alligator Bayou. I can't think of any con's, only...

    Best Counter Service at Epcot....

We always love the Boulangerie Patisseriein France...the ham and cheese croissants are fantastic. They also have quiche, a cheese plate, and out-of-this-world desserts. My mother swears that the absolutely best burgers and chicken strips at WDW are at the Liberty Inn. I personally find...

    Wine at WDW

We're not big drinkers, not even wine drinkers...but we discovered Rosa Regale in Italy at the F&W festival last year. But they do sell it by the glass and by the bottle in the little wine and chocolate shop in the Italian Pavilion. It's a red sparkling wine, rather sweet, and it's meant to be...

Nice things to do for Guests or CM's......

A very cool thing for your kids (or even you!) to do for a CM that is doing a great job is to ask for their autograph in your autograph book! Usually (obviously), only the Characters are asked for autographs. When I was a CM, many nights I worked at the front gate as the park was closing. I...
