yes... saw teal on the express beam this evening as well... looks great.. the entire train has been repainted, not just the stripe

there is no chance.. most of the set dressings were destroyed 2 years ago.. As far as TDO is concerned, the show will never happen again.. I'd say there are better odds on Horizons being rebuilt.

no, trust me... it's funky... not that I blame them.. they probably weren't allowed to wash the train until after the investigation was completed anyway.. the white striping ofer the color is definately some sort of plastic masking material.. but it si simply to conceal the colors on the trains...

The 12th "New" train will use the original purple train, and the chassis from the 2 damaged cab's... It will be all new fiberglass composite shells for the cabin and nose section, and all new equipment and interior fiberglass composite structure as well.... the front end of each will 'feel'...

it returned to beam 10, so that would make sense.. and to clarify, yes it is both of the trains combined.. but 90% of this train is from pink I think it's interesting to note that they also covered the logo on the cab's with the masking material to conceal colors

to my knowledge, this is the former pink....

I was looking more closely at my own photos, and I believe the 'covering' is simply to conceal the 'mix-matched' stripe underneath, and to be a little 'subtle' about the train, and it's recent history... The masking is not even or consistent down the body of the train, and is 'sloppy' at...

While not painted yet (the white portions of the train were FUNKY, prolly no washing since the crash) the 'stripe' on the train was covered with some sort of 'masking' material... perhaps so that the white portion of the train could be painted, and the masking removed to paint the striping...

Nothing noting the accident will be on the train.. And the timeline is to have teal rolling before the holiday season.. Not sure about the 'other' train.. Teal is the old pink from my understanding...... don't quote that part

I am in the parks a few times a week, and I can tell you that it's be quiet around here for the last 2-4 weeks (since mid sept) until last weekend (columbus day weekend) MK was PACKED on Saturday.. some of the worst crowds i've seen since the 4th of july.. Traffic control CM's were all the way...

from what I understand, the building is planned-to-be-demolished before the end of the year
