News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Standby Line and Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

They got it back up and running within 15 minutes, lucky us! 🙌🏻 Glad we didn’t leave the park.

News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Standby Line and Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Down again. We were just escorted off and offered a FP+ for tomorrow. Our APs expire today and we’re not renewing. 😕

    Need some princess help please!

Excellent Ariel and Rapunzel interaction at the Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. Highly recommend!

Where to get Mexican food at Epcot?

There are far better places to get Mexican food on property than at Epcot. I've had horrendous meals at both locations. - Lauren

Disney bags/purses????? Which brand is good?

What's your price point? I'm a huge Dooney & Bourke fan, but their bags run $200-300. There's also Harveys in the $100-200 range, Vera Bradley in the $50-150 range, and Loungefly in the $50-100 range. All have their pros and cons. - Lauren

WDW Resort Reservations: Are they truly reservations?

I do wish it worked more like Disney Cruise Line, where you choose your room number at the time you book. (Or if you want to save a few bucks, you can opt for "Best Available Room" and allow Disney to choose your room. At worst you end up with a standard room. At best you get a sweet upgrade.)

    Good place to watch MNSSHP?

One of our favourite spots is outside of Liberty Tree Tavern. The porch puts you a head above the rest of the crowd and if you arrive early enough, you can snag a rocking chair.

    Ohana Breakfast, what characters?

Last time we were there, we saw Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. It's been a few years, though!

    FOP or FJ?

I give a slight edge to Forbidden Journey, simply because I love Harry Potter more than Avatar. (I literally smile the entire time I'm in line, I'm so happy to be inside Hogwarts!) But I really do love them both! - Lauren

    Honeymoon Trip, Recommended Dining?

California Grill is a MUST. They made us feel very special on our honeymoon (sat us in a quiet corner by ourselves, brought out a personalized dessert), and nothing beats a rooftop view of the fireworks. We also had an early morning brunch at Crystal Palace that was incredibly magical (our...

    Which moderate resort

Riverside is our preferred moderate, though many will argue for French Quarter. Both are connected by a walking path along the river (which I HIGHLY recommend taking at least once, as it's lovely!) so you can easily explore the amenities of both. Coronado is also very nice and I feel the quality...

    Meeting Eeyore?

Yeah, I was going to mention that Eeyore (and the rest of the gang) is available during MNSSHP and MVMCP. They wear special outfits, too!

    Resort Touring Ideas?

Resort loops are our favorite thing to do at Disney! Here are a few of our favourite routes: • MK Loop (start at Polynesian, walk to Grand Floridian, monorail to Contemporary, boat to Wilderness Lodge and/or Fort Wilderness) • Epcot Loop (start at Boardwalk, walk to Beach Club, walk to Yacht...

    Sanaa

The bread service was a bit too adventurous for me. Thankfully I was dining with a bunch of friends and didn't have to feel bad about disliking everything, save a few of the naan breads. I can see how others might enjoy it, but I'd personally never order it again. The butter chicken, on the...

    Favorite Disney Resort

Deluxe - Polynesian. I'd always suspected it would be my favourite Deluxe, but hadn't stayed there due to the high price point. Finally had the chance to stay there last month and my suspicions were instantly confirmed: Best resort ever. Moderate - Riverside. Our "go to" resort, we've stayed...

    Best Cocktail At The Polynesian?

Seconding the Spikey Pineapple! You can also get it at the pool bar.

Soarin' Over California VS Soarin' Around the World

I was fully prepared to embrace Soarin' Around the World, but the CGI is so completely frustrating (notably the Taj Mahal scene) and the scene wipes are goofy. Also the "grass" scent is NOT pleasant for anyone with allergies. Ultimately I ride it without complaint, but I do definitely prefer the...

    Cancel or not?

Please do not seriously allow these forums to deter you from taking a trip to Walt Disney World! The negativity here seems overwhelming at times, but you have to remember that folks on the internet are more apt to complain about something than rave about it. My husband and I are lucky enough to...

Time to upgrade to moderates suggestions?

Riverside is my favourite resort on property, and we've stayed at almost all of them. (Well, technically we've stayed at 15 of them. We're getting there!) It is spacious, blissfully serene, and everything the Value resorts aren't. I highly recommend staying in one of the Magnolia Bend mansions...

Tokyo Dining or Flower and Garden snacking around the world?

Before cancelling your reservation, make sure you look at the booth menus. Flower & Garden doesn't have as many booths as, say, Food & Wine, so the selection is a little slimmer. We're planning to do the booths for lunch (and possibly grab something at a quick service restaurant, since most of...
