...and another tip....if you are planning your FP via the MDE app, if a FP you have expires (outside the 15 minute window), the MDE allows you to change any unused FPs...so, that does not require a trip to a kiosk. You only have to go to the kiosk to add the 4th, 5th, etc.
Agreed, Kevin....
#4 - I found the same being true...SOME of the kiosks almost felt like "full" service stations....I walked in, and they took over...not sure if that was because of being new, or they just want to keep the lines moving, and felt the CMs could accomplish that better.
#5 - A...
FYI - If you had visited a park earlier that day you're welcome to use the parking pass at the other parks as long as it is used on the same day.
I was going to saw the same thing....you can probably get decent parking at EPCOT midday/evening...and you've already paid to park....
That...
I have to agree. I'm one of those types that likes to move in bigger chunks.....I'm not inclined to move 1-2 steps and stop....then 1-2 steps and stop...I like the line to move a little...and move 4-5 steps!!! Both ways I get to my destination in the same time.....just less shuffling. It's...
....and I thought this was going to be about the people who let their kids move up to the interactive queue, passing everyone in line along the way...so they can be entertained!!!
I think it is acceptable to experience the interactive queue briefly without the expectation of being passed...
My brother and I got Davey Crockett muskets and ' skin caps back in the mid 70's....The muskets were about 5 feet long....and didn't need the orange safety tag on the barrel....we lived in a different world back then!!!!
I think timing is everything. We went late in the evening (around 9 PM) and early morning (9 AM), and the parking wasn't too bad. They had lots flagged as full, but several spots were open. I do know there were a significant number of people who were parking across the street, and walking...
We were there in June, and went to Downtown Disney on two separate occasions. While the construction, traffic, etc. looks bad, we were able to find good parking, and still enjoyed our visits.
We took our boys a few times when they were little.....here is our youngest (he's a little over 2)....he enjoyed it until he couldn't hold out anymore!!! He fell asleep between character visits! He slept while our twins enjoyed the rest of the night....
They system will even allow you to change your FP's after they have expired.
We did this when we were there in June. We had early FPs, and didn't go to DHS until late morning, so moved the expired FPs to later
You are about to see the "world" from a different perspective!
I agree with the suggestions to go at their pace. Character Meet & Greets take on a whole new meaning! It's a great time to sit back, and see the magic through your kids eyes....
I've never been at Christmas time, but we have...
Agreed....I amended my comment....I meant to say I would not rent a car JUST to stay off-property....
By the time you factor in the car, parking, etc....I don't see the value.
Agreed. Seemed like it was tap....tap....tap, and then it would go....
Even the cast members stationed at the kiosks had their challenges!
I can't wait until they let you add your 4th, 5th, etc. via the mobile app.
We haven't either.....I don't mind driving....but, there is something about being able to climb on the bus, sit back and enjoy the ride, and be dropped off at the gate!
Considering how many people they are moving.....I think they do a great job.
Agreed....
I only visit Disney in the summer when schedules dictate....
Personally, I enjoy the fall. We have visited 5 times between Sep - Nov, and they have been by far our best visits.
Agreed Sean....
We typically have our own car while at Disney. I don't think I would rent a car JUST to stay off-property.
Were originally had booked into POR for our trip in June, but we weren't convinced the room would sleep our five comfortably.....it killed me to cancel....as I was...
