    Pre-Trip Rituals

Once we OFFICIALLY book our trip, my nephew starts his countdown. My husband starts the countdown to make ADRs. I set up my Disney Trip Widget on my Mac dashboard - it reads 170 days today. We start to list what attractions we want to see - maybe some we have never been to. The girls...

    Jetblue sucks.

We've had bad luck a couple of times. I was one of those people in 2004 who was stranded at JFK during the BIG SNOWSTORM. We had been flying AirTran out of Westchester County Airport until they cancelled all but 1 NON-STOP to Orlando every day (All others connected in Atlanta). AirTran were the...

Who has the best sandwich/burger at WDW???

I love the veggie burger at Pecos Bill's. And the lighthouse sandwich at Columbia Harbor House is the BEST!

There is such POSITIVE HYPE about it and DH & I will not bother eating there again as well as Garden Grill. I've found through the years to NOT listen to ALL the comments and go in with an open mind & empty stomach. Coral Reef & Garden Grill - I let the positive invade my mind and the voices...

    Dining at Hollywood Studios

DH & I liked Rosie's All American QS on the way to RNRC and ToT. I'm not a vegetarian but I loved the veggie burger and fries. Try to make healthy choices in food - even when on vaca. Eat a healthy lunch or dinner then I can have that Mickey ice cream bar, crispy treat or brownie!

    Dining in Magic Kingdom

Don't forget to check into a lunch too. You could schedule for one of the last sittings. Or try an early sitting and hit a QS later in the evening. **Lunch is better food wise and CHEAPER!** Tony's and LTT have great lunch menus and I really prefer both for lunch. The Plaza was nice too - prefer...

DH & I took our 3 year old birthday nephew to Garden Grill. It was horrible. The food was cold and almost compares to Liberty Tree Tavern with the Stouffer's sponsorship. So much for food being grown at EPCOT. Hollywood & Vine is on there for the dinner - enjoyed the Play & Dine breakfast...

I am sure I will get some boo's from this response but DH & I were disappointed at the Coral Reef Restaurant. We went for our anniversary 2 years ago. DH was able to get the personalized menus which was wonderful. The food lacked something and the setting of the tables reminded me of the...

    Les Chefs De France

Family & i have been for lunch only. The ham & cheese sandwich is my fave. Sis & Mom love the quiche. And for dessert THE CREAM PUFFS! I could bathe in the chocolate sauce!

How has Disney tried to encourage healthy eating?

I usually head into a WDW trip with healthy snacks in my bag as I head to the airport. But by the time the plane lands, I am ready for bad stuff - think it is the air change:ROFLOL:. I tend to get salads and lighter fare especially when we are at the parks. I do crave a good ice cream sundae or...

    Casey's Corner & Expectant Mothers/Mothers

I didn't have soft cheeses especially cheez whiz and cheese in a can. I craved cheese in a can too.

How do you make your ADRs?

My DH loves waiting and calling the day of. Something about speaking with a CM after being on hold with WDW music that gets him. Last trip we made one or two online and it was easy.

    Casey's Corner & Expectant Mothers/Mothers

When I was expecting, I would have the periodic turkey or ham sandwich along with a turkey dog. I think you would be fine but remember, you won't be home and your MD isn't readily available. I do have to say if you get sick, the Celebration Hospital is close by and the staff was really nice.

    Progress at Everest!

This is my favorite attraction at WDW. I would like to see it back to 100% working condition. I rode it prior to the official opening and LOVED IT! 7 times in a row. DH sat out the last 6 rides. Would love to meet the tall woolly version shown in these pictures. We named our first born - our 3...

LOL! Can't wait to see what my girls choose when they get older.

    How do you decide?

DH & I always try a new place every trip and go to 1 or 2 of our faves. We usually start discussing while we are planning the accommodations and airfare. Then we look at each park and/or resort and see where we want to go. AND OF COURSE we check out the message boards and inquire, as you are...

WDW Food Picture of the Day

I love this thread. If only I took more photos of food! Here is one rare instance where I had to snap a picture of the EGG ROLL CART in Adventureland b/c it is never in service or serving something else. By dani2807 at 2010-06-09
