Josh D'Amaro comments on rising prices and "additional" or removed services: "An inevitable result of progress"

Sounds wonderful! I think I might just have to look into going for a visit there. You are not the only person I've heard raving about Tokyo Disney. I've not heard any complaints about it either. People saying it has surpassed the Disney parks here in the US even.

I thought about that. Neither she or I have traveled outside the US. Well unless you count the couple of times I went by car across the border to visit Mexico. At the Tokyo Disney park would we require knowing at least some of the local language to be able to have a nice time there?

Josh D'Amaro comments on rising prices and "additional" or removed services: "An inevitable result of progress"

Yes I totally agree with you. That is my issue as well. As I said before, back in the day when Disney was the best vacation on the planet I had to save and skimp for a year to take my kids for a week there and never regretted a single penny I spent there and felt I got all my money's worth. I...

Josh D'Amaro comments on rising prices and "additional" or removed services: "An inevitable result of progress"

I don't pay to park in any mall or shopping center parking lots where I live or anywhere around the area where I live. Hope I don't ever have to.

Mold. Its very sad. I love that old attraction. One of the few creations of Walt himself left. They are letting mold eat it away. Not to mention how unhealthy it is for us to be breathing it while we are on it. That attraction needs to be preserved and kept up forever.

EXACTLY! Of all the insane greedy policies I've seen hotels ESPECIALLY Disney ones put in place these last few years its charging people to park their cars at the hotels they are staying at! I wonder how long it will be before shopping centers and malls start doing that?

Well when you consider what all is being done to our food supply its no wonder.

Andy no truer words ever said! Your post hit every single nail right on the head! Especially the Debt part. Its for people with credit until they don't have it any more because their WDW drug addiction is driving them to bankrupting themselves chasing childhood memories and dreams that just do...

Josh D'Amaro comments on rising prices and "additional" or removed services: "An inevitable result of progress"

For me its not really that I'm angry about the price increases. I'm used to those. In my younger years it would take me at least a year or two of skimping and saving every tiny extra penny I could to have enough money to take my girls on a week long WDW vacation and that was when we lived with...

    Another things wrong post

I guess there is only one way to test that point of view out then. Stop going and see if it changes anything. But unless enough people are willing to do that we have no choice but to pay more, get less, and wait to see if in time the sacrifices pay off and our Disney is returned to us in the...

    Another things wrong post

I know we are all unhappy right now with the way our whole world is going. But the bottom line is that every single hotel and eating establishment and entertainment business on earth is suffering and barely able to keep themselves afloat because of what that horrible pandemic did! Its not...

Full Vaccination Required Ages 5+ Starting 1/13/22

You are an excellent parent. And this is saying a lot because I believe these are the hardest times in the history of our nation to be a good parent. The choices you all have to make now are much harder than the ones I had to make for mine when they were still young and under my care. And I was...

    Poll: Is Galaxy’s Edge Great(and a success)?

I agree totally even though I hate to. IMO Universal still out ranks any of the "lands" and "worlds" at WDW in regards to its Wizarding world of Harry Potter. I hope I live long enough to see Epic Universe completely finished with all its "worlds" open for business. When Universal hyped their...

News Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns for 2022

This is unfair to those of us who have to fly in and have already paid full price for park passes and then loose 3 hours of park time. We should not get booted out at 6PM because we refuse to fork over hundreds of dollars more if we want those 3 hours back that we already paid for! But like...

Great watch: The Senseless Death of EPCOT

One of the things I greatly missed in Epcot the last time I was there in 2019 was the beautiful space kind of music that used to come out of hidden speakers every where in the park. That was back in 1984 and 1993. It was the first time I had ever heard music like that. They called it "new age"...

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

I also really liked how ME included getting all checked in for the air port from our resort hotels upon check out. They took our luggage then all we did was board the bus and back to the air port we went. I remember praising Disney over and over for giving us that wonderful perk for staying on...

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

Thank you for the alternative transportation suggestions. Mears and Sunshine sound like good options for me. 2019 was our last trip and I seem to recall reading back then that Universal Studios also had their own bus transportation they were providing for their guests as well. I wonder if they...

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

Exactly. Just because you have to fork over the $250 bucks now that ME has been jerked out from under us does not mean you had it to spare. Especially since a Disney trip is one of the most expensive vacations on earth if you don't live close to it. A friend of ours is spending a month in Turkey...
