But in a Rom-Com, isn't love the ultimate McGuffin? ;)

    Frozen ride replacing Maelstrom?

My five year old adores Epcot. He loves SSE, the current Maelstrom, the Seas, Imagination (he ain't perfect, folks), and the Kidcot stations in the World Showcase are some of his favorite things. He doesn't need a Frozen ride to be happy, but he certainly wouldn't be upset if there was one.

Disney Infinity: How Young is To Young?

My 4 1/2 year old son is playing it and having a blast. Obviously, every kid is different, but I think you'll be alright. :)

    Clingy Cruiser?

Dave hits the nail on the head. We brought our 3 (almost 4) year old on our cruise aboard the Dream at Halloween last year, and we were super reluctant to leave him in the Oceaneers Club/Lab while we went and enjoyed more grown-up activities. However, after the first day (and a head bump on...

'Disney Springs' - Downtown Disney expansion officially announced

As long as the Earl remains, the LEGO Store sticks around, and we get a new, fun bar/pub out of the deal, I'm on board. Loving the look, it's giving cohesion to something that was always more than a little fractured thematically.

    DCL Picture Of The Day

Might not compare in quality to some of the other shots in this thread, but sentimentally, this was from our cruise on the Dream last week, when my three-year-old met Stitch on Pirate Night. His first cruise, and first real, true, magical Disney memory. An amazing cast member!

A Thank You to the Cast Member Playing Stitch on 10/30 Aboard the Disney Dream during 'Pirate Night'

My wife and I, along with our 3 year old son, just took a fantastic five day cruise aboard the Disney Dream. While the entire experience was amazing - this was our second go on the Dream - one cast member in particular made this an incredibly memorable experience. For those that don't know...

How Many Days Until Your Next Disney Cruise???

    Marvel's Next Step

Well, I completely spaced the Pirates flicks - that was silly, I love those movies. ;) However, to your point, you can't monetize Herb Brooks and the hockey team from Miracle or the Remember the Titans football team like you can Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, The Thing or the Hulk. Perhaps I...

    Marvel's Next Step

Why would Disney buy Marvel? Easy - demographics and box office. What's the last live action movie (before Tron) that Disney released that was a hit for 14-38 Males? Iron Man and Iron Man 2 pulled in $630 Million domestic - that's a good enough reason right there for Disney to be all over it...

At least say in theme - a lightsaber, of course. :)

Jake from Disney Junior's "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" Meet-and-Greet Coming Soon

Ooooh...my two year old son is going to go mental for this - he LOVES Jake and the Neverland Pirates. AND we passed the character test last saturday - he was excited to see Chip & Dale "HEY! SQUIRREL!! HI!!!!" and Stitch at the Tomorrowland dance party fiasco. No crying, no melt down - just...

Hollywood Studios needs more Star Wars

I agree. Except I dig the prequels and think Clone Wars is one of the best animated series on television. So, I guess just more Star Wars, please. :)

Are Photos Of Signs Now Taboo?

So, my buddy, a CM, just called me with a question of a bizarre circumstance. On his way into EPCOT, he snapped a picture of the "Guests With/Without Bags" sign for one reason or another. Security then told him he wasn't allowed to take a picture of it, and made him delete the picture from his...

    Phineas and Ferb out yet?

P&F is one of the best cartoons on television right now, alongside Generator Rex on Cartoon Network. As far as merchandise goes (topic has drifted slightly) there's some action figures, PVC inaction figures, and a transforming Perry/Agent P plush that I've seen at Target and Wal-Mart here in...

New DVC Resort Near CSR Planned?

BINGO. My wife and I moved up to the 1 bedroom after our son was born, and we can't EVER imagine going back to the studio. Even if he stays with grandma and grandpa the weekend we go, we get the 1 bedroom...it's just too nice not to! :)

Star Tours to close on 8 September 2010 for major refurbishment into Star Tours 2 3D

It's a common practice - the movie industry does the same thing when a sequel receives a 3D version of the title. For instance, with the re-releases of Toy Story and Tory Story 2 last year, they were in the theaters as both their given titles, and "Toy Story/Toy Story 2 in 3D".

    Thunder Mountain Track Layout/Blueprints?

Hey everyone. I come to the most knowledgeable place on the internet for Disney info in hopes that you'll be able to help me out. A friend of mine is working on recreating Big Thunder Mountain in a 3D environment, but he's having a hard time finding blueprints with elevation information or a...
