News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

Really hope he doesn’t get the CEO role, I got zero faith in him.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I assume you’re talking about Poseidon Entertainment’s video that released today, I enjoyed it a lot too if you are. I’ll link it here if people want to check it out.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Not to be a Disneyland homer, but I feel more and more like we got the better version out here.

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

I’ve only been on it a few times, but it really adds so much to the atmosphere just being there. I hope they find a way to bring it back in the future.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

While I prefer the rustic aesthetic of Splash, this area’s turning out pretty nice and it looks better than WDW’s.

New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

I find it sad that my reaction to most changes Disney Parks announce went from either excitement or missing what will be replaced yet optimistic it’ll be done well, to fearing any change because I don’t trust them to not make it worse. I hope it changes back to the former one day.

When was the last time the Observatron rotated at Disneyland?

I could’ve sworn I’d seen it revolve in the 2010s, but that may just be memories from when I was younger.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

That just seems ridiculous. I don’t trust this one bit, and certainly not from that source.

News Space Mountain and Disneyland Railroad closing for refurbishment in early August 2024

Dang, looks like I’m gonna miss out on the railroad on my trip next month, though I am glad they’re doing all these refurbishments and getting the parks ready for the 70th.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I think Western River Expedition would absolutely be a hit. Not only would it be an original attraction that fits perfectly in Frontierland, but I think that the success of the Red Dead Redemption video game series in recent years proves that modern audiences still care a lot about...

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

Yeah, Wallen seems like the better CEO pick for sure. I’m not a fan of what Josh has done while he’s been in charge of the parks.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

It was mentioned in a reply to this tweet that they seem to be keeping more of the mountain’s exterior looking like Splash Mountain compared to WDW’s version, which I like and think is interesting.

News Red Car Trolley to close in early 2025

That’s good to hear. The trolley’s such an important part of the ambiance of BVS & Hollywoodland, and a symbol of DCA’s rebirth. It probably helps that the barn doesn’t take up too much space backstage and it’d probably not be too difficult to build another.

News Space Mountain and Disneyland Railroad closing for refurbishment in early August 2024

I’m looking forward to seeing Space Mountain when I go next month, I don’t think the blue light tunnel has worked on any of my trips since the park reopened from COVID so it’ll be nice seeing everything working again.

    The Downtown Disney Thread

Yeah, I wouldn’t call it immersive, but I definitely thought it was unique and had the Disney touch. I have mixed feelings on the rethemes, because I like how places like Naples look after being redone, but then you have places like World of Disney that took all the fun and character out of it...

    The Downtown Disney Thread

That’s good to hear. I haven’t eaten at the one at DTD, but I really like how it looks on the outside, it stands out and looks more reminiscent of classic DTD as opposed to the duller looking places that have opened recently.

    The Downtown Disney Thread

Earl of Sandwich looks so bland, like you could find it at any other outdoor mall. Why is Disney trying to take away all the character and uniqueness from Downtown Disney?

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Not a fan of the bright yellow at all, looks super out of place compared to what it was before.
