New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

I would assume it would be shortened for whatever future project goes in the Motor Boat area. Doubt that would be done during the electrification changeover though, unless they are ready to move forward with the Motor Boat area.
Whatever they put in the Motorboat area likely will be a Fantasyland expansion that uses some of the Autopia footprint. My money is on Frozen.

Maybe Disney won't have electric vehicles by 2026, but rather just close Autopia to replace it with future Fantasyland expansion. Or shorten it and put in the electric vehicles.

Not that plans can't change, but Disney has already committed to the electrification of Autopia. So don't see any reason why they wouldn't go forward with that, especially not to be replaced entirely with a future FL expansion.

Right. I was speaking theoretically. But likely they will go forward with it. I'm just hoping the track is altered and shortened so it doesn't take up as much space as it does now, so that the majority of that area can be used for expansion.

When Disney does decide to redo Tomorrowland, I feel like the Subs/Autopia/Monorail will just be Fantasyland expansion because they have so many IP’s they could work with there. Tomorrowland will make do with a tinier footprint and probably have enough land for 5 rides. They don’t seem to have enough futuristic IP’s to fill the land and Tron would just take up to much room if it wasn’t placed in the Fantasyland expansion area. What Disney could do is just reimagine the Tron ride and make it kind of like Flight of passage and use the light cycles instead, that way it will take up less room

Its tied to building 7101 though, that was used for Sleeping Beauty Castle in previous permits. So not sure it has anything to do with TL, but guess we'll see if they update that permit with more details.
Correct. A previous permit (probably the one you looked up) was for Snow White's Grotto, so it probably extends out to the grounds in front of the castle as well.
