DHS New Roundup Rodeo BBQ sit-down restaurant coming to TSL

Personally, I think it would have been better as QS. Just no desire to eat here when I can go to places like Sci-Fi Dine-In, Mama Melrose's, or the Prime Time Cafe. For BBQ, I can go to EPCOT and have Regal Eagle Smokehouse, it's really not that far, and significantly more affordable...

So is Legoland worth the price?

For us, it's worth the price, but not the drive. I'd almost rather drive to Tampa and go to Busch Gardens. The park is fun and offers a lot for your money, but the hassle of getting there, especially if you have to drive through Champions Gate area on I-4, makes it very unappealing to us...

    Universal Cruise Line

With the way ships are getting more efficient and cruise rates are rising, I could see it. Very few companies would be able to enter the market, but Comcast has the ability, I think. If they didn't want a new build, they could also buy an existing line if they wanted to, but it depends how far...

    IASW Introducing Dolls in Wheelchairs

It looks great! Did they replace a doll or was this a new addition to the ride? Like an additional doll in the total count, I mean.

News Annual Passholder Park Pass Reservation Change

Just worth mentioning, the price increases do impact renewals and some rare new sales. As existing passholder families grow (think a child turning three), Disney is allowing those families to buy a new AP for their child, which would be at the increased price. That's about the only way to...

Rumor Pecos Bills to be rethemed?

It's really too bad they don't spend the $$ and redo the queue from Splash. You could make it a multi-layer deal and add a restaurant, with a queue on another level, maybe overlooking certain portions, but not in a disturbing way. Probably too little too late on that though, as I'm sure...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

The experience can absolutely be great for those who get to enjoy it, don't disagree with that. Unfortunately though, it won't be great for everyone, because not everyone will get to enjoy it together. [EDIT] And I do get this can be argued about any ride with a height requirement. The thing...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

It's a agree to disagree thing. I think Tiana is a very loved character and the potential for story is there, even in a shoehorned Splash. However, my opinion is that I think the ride system itself is wrong for Tiana. If you're wanting to make a statement about inclusiveness, I think it...

News Bob Iger is back! Chapek is out!!

I mean, it did, and then they all left, one by one. I still think there are some long-term contenders inside the company, so if McCarthy were to have a shorter tenure as CEO, I don't think it's the worst thing. I don't imagine her having a long run as CEO, given her age. It'd also reward...

'Strange World' Disney's 2022 Animated Film

Different Buzz and apparently not. The Minions were the same as always and voiced by the same actor. I never mentioned Chris Evans, just Steve Carell. I absolutely believe Steve has more family trust than Chris, after multiple Despicable Me films. Captain America is a great hero, but...

'Strange World' Disney's 2022 Animated Film

Seeing some comparisons to Minions: The Rise of Gru. This movie is streaming on Peacock ($4.99 a month with ads). It released theatrically on July 1st and landed on Peacock September 23rd. So, less than three months after its theatrical release. Ironically, it also cost less to make at $80...

News Bob Iger is back! Chapek is out!!

Stock market will be opening soon, it'll be fun to see how Wall Street reacts. I bet there'll be a spike at opening.

    Fantasmic Reopening Watch

How full was it? It seemed kind of last minute, informing people, so I'm curious how many rushed over. At least, I didn't know about it until today. I have the Pixie Dust pass, so it wasn't an option for me personally anyway, still curious how well attended it was.

News Tropical Storm Nicole impacts to Walt Disney World - November 2022

Love their satellite images. Looks like it's right on top of Freeport right now. Very closely following the track, which has been relatively consistent.

Hey Ap'ers, how does it feel to know you are a contingency plan?

I would not be among the most valued, in that case. I'm sure the bloggers will love it though. They'll definitely be the most valued in a recession.

Hey Ap'ers, how does it feel to know you are a contingency plan?

The best way for me to put it is that I don't plan to be the TP Disney will wipe their bottom with. If they want my business in the future, they'll have to earn it. Bridge has been burned.

News Tropical Storm Nicole impacts to Walt Disney World - November 2022

Depending on your situation, you can look at other airports like Tampa's. I don’t believe they've announced a closure yet. The hardest part is getting transit from there to Orlando, but it's doable. Honestly though, weather won't be too great on Friday either. Less bad, but it looks rainy...

News Tropical Storm Nicole impacts to Walt Disney World - November 2022

It's a pretty bizarre track. Can't think of a storm in the last decade that hit from the eastern side. We'll definitely have to watch this one. The good news is the rain predictions seem low. Showing a couple inches total over here. Could change, but at least it's not another Ian.

EPCOT New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

All someone has to do, if it's there, is photo graph it and let it circulate online as "proof it's still on". If it's not, it'd probably be promptly removed, because that's how Disney works. They're not ahead of the curve anymore.
