There's no harm in looking nice for dinner. I would say that park attire would be fine for any in park dining, but I would go with business casual for dinner at the GF. In my experience very few people get cleaned up for dinner but it would be nice if more people did.

That is the case with me, I was expecting a lot I guess. I think WDI has done such a great job with their refurbs lately. Spaceship Earth is Epcot's icon, it deserves better in my opinion. We should walk off the attraction thinking, "wow!" not "ugh"

While I wasn't thrilled with the refurb, I don't know if its fair to blame WDI for the video screens. Couldn't they have been used due to pressure/insistance from Seimens? My husband and I have a theory (some may call it wishful thinking and not at all based on reality :lol:): We think...

If they don't consider it show worthy then it really shouldn't be open. It must be in a nearly complete state for them to allow previews. I've done a number of soft openings and everytime the rides have been show worthy and nearly complete to the point where I doubt I would have noticed any...

I mostly agree with you. I have one word to describe the Spaceship Earth refurb... underwhelming. The animatronics look good the new scenes are decent but there is no audible score traveling with you through the attraction and the video screens are horrible. They could and should have done...

I think the lights are wasted in that location. The lights just don't have enough poke to light the underside of the sphere well. I think the trees look pretty tacky with the lights too. They look like they were attacked by spray paint. I'm not at all impressed with the lighting package...

I was at Epcot last night too. Maybe I'm a stuffy fuddy duddy but I left early. I didn't like the night time food and wine fest vibe at all. It felt more like a county fair than Epcot. I couldn't believe the amount of people stumbling around. There were far too many visably drunk people...

The passes worked at the other 3 parks after we tried to use the single finger reader but wouldn't work at any of the MK turnstyles after that point. I guess it was just a fluke, glad to know it was just us. :lol: We avoided the single finger readers for the rest of the trip, I'll be less...

Oh that's good, maybe they've addressed the problem. My husband and I were there in July and we both had problems. The single finger scanner wouldn't even attempt to read our passes.

Be careful if you have an AP, its not possible to switch between the two types of finger scanners. I had big problems at the Magic Kingdom when I switched from the two finger method to the single finger scanner. After I switched I couldn't get into the MK at all and had to have my pass reissued.
