Any un-magical moments happen to you?

I will try not to be too graphic while describing what happened to me one year. It was back in 2000. My wife and I decided to eat at Pecos Bill's. We both had the same thing: cheeseburger and fries. The only exception being that I loaded up on the pickle slices at the condiment bar. Later...

    Off-site value resort suggestions

Check out the Galleria Palms on US192. My wife and I stayed there last year and we were very, very happy. The beds were fantastic. Brand new pillow tops. The free deluxe continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. And it was only $70 per night. And as for distance, only 10...

Anyone know about The Fountains Resort?

We just booked 6 nights at the Fountains Resort on International Drive for this October. It had great reviews on TripAdvisor....just wondering if anyone on the forum heard anything about it.

    Mosquitos in September?

In all my years of going in September and October, I can't recall one mosquito bite. I always thought that the birds of Florida kept the mosquito population down.

    Holiday Inn Main Gate East??

We have been doing our yearly research on area hotels. Apparently the Holiday Inn Maingate East used to be another hotel called FunSpots or something like that. The property has been completely renovated and by looking at the photos, looks very nice. The only complaints I saw were about the...

    I'm Scared!

I would be in heaven if the Haunted Mansion broke down with me on it for an extended period of time. One of my favorite attractions in the park. Being stuck in the graveyard is where I'd want to be! I've already made my arrangements to be the 1000th Happy Haunt!:lol::lol:

    september/october

After going to the World in May, June and July....we decided that October is the best time of year to go. Lines and crowds are managable and the temps are usually in the mid to upper 80's.

Anyone have info on HHN 18?

We are getting ready to start planning our 2008 trip and I am surprised that the Halloween Horror Nights website hasn't been updated yet. Still has the Carnival of Carnage. We are only 4 months away. Anyone have any clue as to when they will release the dates for HHN 18? I could have sworn...

    Special Days.....

My wife and I picked up our anniversary pins at the Magic Kingdom a couple of days after our anniversary had passed. We figured since our trip was an anniversary present, it would be OK to celebrate our anniversary every day. We were not asked to provide proof.

    Question about character website

I recall seeing a website awhile back that I can't find anymore. It was a website about Disney characters. It showed copies of their autographs and told you the best places to find them and how common or rare they are. If someone can help me out here I would appreciate it. Please forgive me...

HHN 18. Anyone know anything yet?

Thanks. I heard about the survey from someone I know. They didn't sound too interesting. I take Universal surveys myself, however did not receive this particular one :(.

HHN 18. Anyone know anything yet?

Hello all. I know it's only the last day of January, but I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about HHN 18? Like any ideas on themes or icons? Since 2008 is the 30th Anniversary of the classic "Halloween" I was thinking Michael Myers perhaps being an icon this year. Any info...

    How many times

My first visit to WDW was July 1976. I was 5 years old and I remember it all very well. Just to show the effect WDW has on a kid; I can remember practically every part of that trip and I can't remember my first day of kindergarten 2 months later at all. Does anyone remember the carts that sold...

    Typhoon Lagoon

As far as I know, the water in the wave pool is heated, but the water on the slides is not. I am not 100% sure. The coldest month I've been to Typhoon Lagoon was March with a daytime temp of 72 degrees. It was a bit chilly, but tolerable. Hope this helps.
