We just booked 6 nights at the Fountains Resort on International Drive for this October. It had great reviews on TripAdvisor....just wondering if anyone on the forum heard anything about it.

After going to the World in May, June and July....we decided that October is the best time of year to go. Lines and crowds are managable and the temps are usually in the mid to upper 80's.

My wife and I picked up our anniversary pins at the Magic Kingdom a couple of days after our anniversary had passed. We figured since our trip was an anniversary present, it would be OK to celebrate our anniversary every day. We were not asked to provide proof.

As far as I know, the water in the wave pool is heated, but the water on the slides is not. I am not 100% sure. The coldest month I've been to Typhoon Lagoon was March with a daytime temp of 72 degrees. It was a bit chilly, but tolerable. Hope this helps.
