I never knew about George. I love the HM. I never heard of it being haunted either. Maybe they did it on purpose. How's that for imagineering.:lol: Maybe it's me, but does anyone else get scared at the end of the Pirates and think that the boat will not stop and you will go through that car wash looking thing.:wave:

I believe in ghosts, but I really don't think any of the rumors are true. Though, since ghosts do tend to pop up in places where the deceased was particularly attatched to... well, Disney would be a prime candidate...

I just got chills down my back, goosebumps all over my body. Oh. My. God.

I was riding them HM last year and I saw a child look into my doom buggy just like that, look at me right into my eyes and smile. It startled me and the child went away.

I figured it was the child on the doom buggy next to mine even though he would had had to pretty much stick his whole body out of his vehicle into mine.

During unload I tried looking for him in front of me but I didn't think much of it when I didn't see him.

The child looked just like the one on that picture. Now, I'm not one to believe in ghosts. Or I didn't. Now I wonder. I'm a guy in his early 30s and I'm completely freaked out. I can't even believe I'm posting this.

my cousins and i spoke with some PoTC CM's one night before spectromagic and they told us it was indeed haunted by George. They explained something to us about George stopping the ride and what not, but one thing I do remember was they told us that right at the end scene with the dog holding the keys in his mouth, there is a door right behind the dog, forgive me because I forget exactly what the story was, but it was something about the door opening when its locked or something of that sort.

the next day when we went on the ride my cousins kept saying "George isn't real" and the ride kept going with no problems. My cousin's boyfriend Erik was sitting next to me and he said very seriously "If he WAS real, the ride would have stopped already. It's just a stupid story, George doesn't exist". And the ride stopped. Immediately after he said that. We were stuck for over 20 minutes. Coincidence? Maybe... but we like to believe it was George lol.

not to sound like an unbeliever, but POTC stops at LEAST once everytime im on it. now, either a lot of people dont believe in george or its just a typical happening on the ride...

I would be in heaven if the Haunted Mansion broke down with me on it for an extended period of time. One of my favorite attractions in the park. Being stuck in the graveyard is where I'd want to be! I've already made my arrangements to be the 1000th Happy Haunt! :lol::lol::lol:
