    Is Fantasmic worth it?

OK, here's my dilemma. I'm up in the air about whether or not my family of 6 should do Fantasmic and specifically, if we do decide we're going to stay for Fantasmic, should we do the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood and Vine? We have three children (two of whom will probably be exhausted...

    If you could upgrade ??

No question: Grand Floridian. It just takes my breath away on the monorail ride to the MK!

    MSN Travel Tips: Avoid AK?

Sorry. I was a bit confused there! Thanks for clearing that up!

    MSN Travel Tips: Avoid AK?

Somebody I can agree with! Please, I encourage everyone to go see it at least once and form your own opinion. After that, you're free to choose whether you ever go back. Once again, I think that some people are so pro-Disney that they cannot take a neutral view on anything Disney does. While...

    MSN Travel Tips: Avoid AK?

I didn't say AK itself was a mistake. I'm just saying that, yes, Disney does make mistakes and misjudgments and it seems that when people like me don't like something, certain people, like yourself, like to jump all over them on these boards. Reread my post. I NEVER said AK was a mistake.

    MSN Travel Tips: Avoid AK?

I don't post all that often, but when something interests me or "sets me off" so to speak, I feel compelled to say something. First off, I "get" Disney. Please don't act superior over others and claim others don't "get" Disney just because we happen to believe the MSN article could be right...

    Park attendance down in 06...

I don't know when you were last there, but I sure didn't see any graffiti or chewed bubble gum anywhere. I'm sure if you looked hard enough anywhere, you'd find things. I think some people on this board are so pro-Disney that you fail to recognize that other parks may be good, as well. Just...

    What have i done???

OK, I can totally relate to you! Two years ago, my husband finally, after many years of begging, agreed to take the whole family to WDW. Because I thought this might be our one and only trip, I put my heart and soul into planning. I bought every guidebook, subscribed to every WDW website...

What is the closest you have come to breaking the "Disney Law"

When I was in college, one of my friends who used to be a CM at MK took us through the "secret door" at the Emporium (I think it was this shop) and took us underground where the CM's hang out. It was really cool and to this day, I wish I had taken pictures.:brick:

What time can I get in MK for MNSSHP?

I've heard from more than one person that you can start getting in around 4. We're going on Sept. 15 and not going to the park that day and I plan on getting there around 5.

    Park attendance down in 06...

I don't want to be ignorant here, but we go to Cedar Point once, sometimes twice a year, and I personally would say that CP is just as clean as Disney. On a friendliness factor, I would rate Disney higher, but you have to remember that CP hires many college students (I KNOW! Disney does too!)...

    How Often

You guys are all so lucky! My husband isn't a huge Disney fan, so I'm lucky I can talk him into once every two years! If it were up to me, I'd be there at least once a year, probably twice. But, considering it costs us almost $4000 everytime we go, it's kind of hard to do. :hammer: With...

Some last questions....only 2 more weeks

I guess you could take insect spray (but not in your carry-on, LOL), but I didn't notice any mosquitos on our last trip. In fact, it never even crossed my mind. As far as Jedi training, I guess you could call MGM itself and maybe they could give you some information. Just an idea.:veryconfu...

Last Minute Snag - Need Help ASAP

I don't know about you, but if my husband put my jewelry on his toe and then proceeded to give it to me, I'd be grossed out! I'm NOT a foot person! EWWW!!!!:hurl:

    Help -- Leaving Tomorrow

Rent One! When we went two years with a 4-year-old, 2-year-old, and a nine-month-old and stayed at Fort Wilderness, we rented a minivan just so we wouldn't have to cart the double stroller on the buses all of the time. It was great and worth every penny. We could go other places to eat and we...

    Windsor Palms Resort

Thanks for the info! I received our info from the wonderful couple that own the condo and it sounds terrific! I really think my family of 6 will enjoy condo life more than we did squeezed into the Fort Wilderness cabin from our last trip. We didn't have the money to upgrade to suites at the...

    Does your spouse love Disney?

My husband could take it or leave it. He goes because he knows I love it and because the kids want to go. He's not necessarily miserable, but I don't expect to see him skipping down Main Street anytime soon, either. Oh, well, as long as he sucks it up and goes, I couldn't care less. We have...

Your Favorite Place to Eat at WDW

I really like the Toy Story Pizza Planet. Don't laugh, it's back in the corner, away from the masses and the pizzas are really good. :p
