How will Tropical Storm/Potential Hurricane Fay Affect WDW?

Watching that video put a little lump in my throat. Esp. when they showed the clip of the weather in Port Charlotte. That's where I live. It was a very scarey day and a long recovery. I definately don't want to go through it again. I wish I was in WDW that day!!! The only good thing about...

    Cool Fast Pass Freebie

We were there 2 weeks ago and got the CoP FP from Buzz ,also. When we got to CoP, there were alot of people using them, and the FP line was longer than the standby line. It didn't matter bc the theaters never filled up.

what kind of snacks does everyone bring?

We have a DS age 2 1/2. We have never had any problems bringing in snacks/drinks. I have actually seen people bring in LARGE coolers full of food. No need to hide them. We also used to bring in a small lunch box/cooler thing for drinks for DS before he was allowed to have the drinks they sell at...

    Packin for the trip

Oh, one more thing...if you are going to be putting the clothes of multiple family members in the same suitcase, use ziplock bags (labeled with names) for socks and underwear. It will keep them neat, organized, and seperated. For the little ones, you could also put indivdual outfits (including...

    Packin for the trip

I have only 1 child (2 1/2 y/o), but we go to Disney and TN often. I have several packing lists. One large one for me including everything I may need at any given time of year. I print it out before each trip and cross off anything that I don't need for that trip (ex., a sweatshirt in the...

    Toy Story Mania Question?

We went to DHS this past Sunday. We got to the FP machines for TSM at 9:15ish (no EMH) and our FP's were for 11:20. We jumped in line and waited about 20 minutes. When we got off the ride, it was a 40 min wait and fast passes were for like 4:30. It is an AWESOME ride, so I think it's worth at...

    Innovative Packing Tips/Ideas.......

We often visit WDW and Tennessee for vacations. We go at different times of the year. I have packing lists on my computer in Microsoft Word.... Warm Disney/Cold Disney/Warm TN/Cold TN. That way, when I am ready to pack, I just print the list I need and highlight items as I put them in the...

    Just got back....

It definately was a good trip. My only other complaint (which has nothing to do with Disney), it was TOO SHORT!!! We had really awesome luck with wait times for rides and buses! I can't wait till our next trip. Hopefully for MNSSHP!!! Oh and Food and Wine!

    Just got back....

Yeah, I can understand that. It does suck though when it's so hot and going back to the resort isn't really an option. I guess we could have gone back to use the pool, but bc we were already checked out, our luggage was in the car and I would have to unpack to get my suit and it would just be a...

    Just got back....

and I was a little dissapointed. My Mom and I took DS (2 1/2) for a mini vaca. this weekend. We went to DHS on Sunday so we could go on TSM. It was AWESOME. Much better than Buzz @ MK. Anywho, it was VERY hot yesterday, so we decided to go over to MK. We chose it bc they have several interactive...

To take the little one or not??

I have posted this before, but I will post again in this thread. DS is 2 1/2 yrs old, this weekend, we will be taking him to the world for the 12th time. His first trip was when he was about a month old. We have enjoyed EVERY trip with him. It's awesome to literally watch him grow up at the...

    Wet areas in the parks

In MK there is a small water feature in the old 20,000 Leagues area, it's a Pooh's Playground. Also at DTD, there is a large water feature kinda outside the Christmas shop. When u come off the busses, you pass it going into Marketplace.

    4 month old at disney

I agree with the other posts. If Mom is fine, then I wouldn't worry about it. DS has been to WDW 11 times (he's 2 1/2 and #12 time will be this weekend). His first trip, he was just over a month old. It was fine. He was in his own stroller, and I also had a carrier. We were able to go on a lot...

Anyone who has done the 7 day land/sea package

As far as cruises go, IMO, October would be the BEST month. I have heard also that it is one of the least busy months. Unfortunately, WDW may be busy bc of MNSSHP and EPCOT's Food and Wine. November is pretty good also. Maybe the beginning bc there aren't too many vacationers until closer to...

    Drinks around the world

I am so glad you mentioned this one! It's my favorite! It's best when you take a bite of the chocolate you can get with it and then take a sip. SOOO Yummmy!! I do also like the Grey Goose Lemonade Slushy in France.

    Snacks on the Dining Plan

I have had both Spanish and French versions. They are a little different, but similar bc they are both Fried dough. The spanish versions I have seen are usually served with honey or some type of sauce. The French ones are a combo of a donut hole and a funnel cake with powdered sugar. Either...
