I have been twice without my daughter since she has been born, 1st last summer, right after she turned 2, and then this past christmas when she was 2 1/2. I could not do disney right now with a 3 year old. When she is 6 I think i will be able to take her. She loves staying with grammy for a week, and grammy loves having her. So she gets a vaca away from mommy and daddy with grammy, and we get a vaca to the Mouse! We love the thrill rides, and staying out til 1 and 2am to be at Magic kingdom. She isnt old enough for this stuff, and we arent quite ready to let it go. So we will continue to take our "adult" trips and she will continue to get the week with grammy until she is older. I dont feel bad about it, and when Im gone, of course I miss her, but my mother also takes her weeks at a time while Im still home, so i dont feel guilty leaving her behind.

I have posted this before, but I will post again in this thread. DS is 2 1/2 yrs old, this weekend, we will be taking him to the world for the 12th time. His first trip was when he was about a month old. We have enjoyed EVERY trip with him. It's awesome to literally watch him grow up at the world. To see him change and grow with every trip and to look back at pictures. I would never dream of leaving him with someone, while I go to WDW (not that I am knocking anyone who does). I just feel that when I became a Mom, I wanted to share my love for Disney with my son. And I have, bc he LOVES it. Just this past week he started watching Toy Story, and he loves it. I am so excited to see his reaction to TSM and the Buzz Lightyear ride (which he's been on and ejoyed, but didn't know who the characher were really representing).
I have a feeling that you won't be able to leave your baby. If you decide to go and bring her, you will have just as Magical time as you would alone. It will just be different!

My oldest was exactly 8 months when he first went. We spent a good amount of time at the hotel. We let him have plenty of relax/pool time. We only took him to MK and took our time. He went on many rides (loved HM, I think because it was nice and cool). He has since been 2 more times. Each time is a new experience. They are able to do and understand more the older they get. Please let us know what you decide.

Thanks to everyone who has shared their opinions.. My hubby and I are discussing which way we will lean.. Everyone has made good arguments and brought some things to our attention that we hadn't thought about... Thanks again for the help!!
