    Best surprise at WDW

Wow -that is so cool that the princesses know how to sign! Our youngest insisted that we line up early for KRR to open at DAK (opened at 10 am) during our Nov 2003 visit. We were the first family to ride and there was a CM in raingear waiting for us at the load area. She introduced herself...

    Idol Winner on Feb 7

Congratulations and thanks for sharing your wife's success story and the pics. I was wondering about her wardrobe - she's wearing high heels and appears to have changed her slacks for the finale performance. What's up with that? Edit: I just looked at the pics full size and noticed the bag...

Is there something you have to buy everytime you go t WDW?

Not really. I find the merchandise quality declining, so it has to be something really special or unique for me to shell out these days.

The best movie during the Disney Renaissance: Your Vote

It was a tie for me between Beauty and the Beast and Mulan. I voted for BatB because it tugs at the heart a little more and the songs were hits (plus it was nominated for an Academy Award for best film - not just best animated film). I love the story of Mulan - how one teenager saved her...

    Velveteen Rabbit phone scam?

The live work looks good, but the animation is very elementary. What a shame as the Velveteen Rabbit was my favorite story when I was a child. I'm totally with everyone else on Christmas Shoes - or as my family calls it - the "I'm going to go kill myself now" song. It’s so depressing!

No Magic In The Numbers ...

It’s a shame TDC can’t operate on Walt’s philosophy of spending money to deliver quality, which in turn generated attendance. Of course, he nearly went bankrupt a couple of times – something that today’s shareholders would not stand for – but in the end, he usually got it right.

No more Banana Stuffed french toast!!!!

Was this banana stuffed French toast dredged in cinnamon and sugar? If so, you can get it at Kona Cafe or Caption Cooks at the Polynesian (Tonga Toast). The Rainforest Cafe outside DAK also has a similar item on their menu. I hear you though - breakfast at Boatwrights will be missed. I was a...

15 minutes feels like forever! (and still counting)

The next time you need a reservation, call Kingdom Konsultant (one of this site's sponsors) and let them do the waiting for you. They even monitor your ressie for a new discount and automatically apply w/o you having to lift a finger. Two thumbs way up for KK :king:!

    ADR's...How many is too many?

Unfortunatly, the extra (unused) ADRs do not immediatly go back into the system for walk-ups, not to mention others who lost out on securing the overbooked ADR in the first place.
