A great poll today.

Ever use the ADR system at Disney World? Any kind of reservation system is nice, it gives you an opportunity to plan your day how you want it. But...

What if some people make multiple ADR's a day and don't use them, only picking and choosing where and what time they feel is best. Is that wrong? Disney does not have a problem with it, so should you? Its not like the ADR your not going to use won't get used anyway.

Or should you feel like you should only have to make one ADR a day and save some for others?

Its your vacation, do you use the system, or take advantage?

Disney does have a problem with it, thats why changes are being made to the system.

I only do one per, and I'm glad Disney is trying to change the system so there is no abuse. ADR's are hard enough to get as it is, and people who can't go many times aren't even considerate enough to cancel them.

Unfortunatly, the extra (unused) ADRs do not immediatly go back into the system for walk-ups, not to mention others who lost out on securing the overbooked ADR in the first place.

I make the ADR's I know we want. Soemtimes that might be more than one in a day, but that is rare. For example, on our upcoming trip we are doing Ohana for breakfast one day and then T-Rex for dinner, so I made ADR's. I can't say I am saving some for other people, but I cartainly do not make a bunch just so we have them. It stinks to think that other people do that!

Depending on my trip, I can make 3 ADR's an hour, or one. It depends on the size of my group.

Last X-Mas when I was at DW with a non-profit organization for needy children, yep, I had 3 ADR's at 6pm for 3 different popular restaurants. And I did that for 3 days in a row. Disney, did not have a problem with it when I made the ADR's. And I hate to say this, but if I'm sponsoring a group, I do this a lot.

If it is just my wife and kids, not so much, we are not picky eaters, but I can't say I've never done it, or won't do it.

I have made more than one ADR for a specific time...but after I do that I try and choose which I want as soon as possible. When the time comes around, I only have one ADR and that is for the place i wanted to eat at.

We always look at the EMH schedule and kind of plan which parks we are going to be at on each evening of our trip and then schedule our ADRs as close to those parks as possible and at times early (or late) enough to enjoy the parks before or after dinner. We also use the dining plan so we always use out table service for dinner every night. So only one per day for me, except for one character breakfast per trip. I think that's enough to keep track of :ROFLOL:

I work out my touring schedule as far in advance as possible - when it comes to ADFs I book only one per breakfast / evening meal max per day

I only book ADRs for the meals that we know we are going to use. We plan around our meals and it has always worked great. I wouldn't feel right making them for more than one place.. but that is just me. Usually one table service a day unless we do breakfast then two.
