I've yet to use DME to it's fullest extent simply because I don't trust ANYONE with my luggage. I grab my own luggage and then head to the DME bus. That way I know my luggage will not be lost. Rolling my luggage around with me at check in is soooo much less of an inconvenience than not having it...

Long time no see Maria!!! Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. Eight years is way too long to go without WDW. I bet it was great having so much new stuff to do though. :)

The last refurb had just started when I was there in January of 05. Scaffolding was being put up...I took lots of bad pics. lol

I also miss when Aunt Polly's had real food. that was my favorite spot to grab lunch. I'm not sure why everyone assumes WDW will get the Pirates overlay. In DL the island is in close proximity to the PotC. In WDW they're in completely diferent lands!

Take it easy for a while. I hurt mine and thought it was fine a day or two after and ended up seriously injuring it when lifting something. Now I have to deal with it every day. It's not worth doing more damage!

Yep. I buy pins. Lots of pins. ;) It's also important to me to add to my pressed coin collection on every trip to WDW.

I agree to an extent, some bus drivers are entertaining and DO know what they're talking about. These days the majority do not seem to have a clue though. I only say that from experience. I think this change is for the better and I for one am pretty excited to see/hear it next time I'm in WDW.

Disneyland has also held events like this. It costs an arm and a leg but there are tons of cool, unique gifts you're given.
