Didnt AO reopen about a year ago from a fairly lengthy refurb?

I don't remember, but I know it had some sort of refurb. The planets all worked, for like a week.

Thats what I was thinking. I was even thinking that prior to the refurb there was some question as to if it was even going to reopen.

When it actually works it's really pretty. Like a big sculpture up there.

They probably have to get rid of Pluto, since its no longer a planet..

They replaced the entire ride system itself in 2004. Part of the Hydrolics system collapsed on the old one.

Working planets or not, it is still one of my favorites because of the views it allows of the park.....very unique...

lol, you mean the planets have stopped spinning already, and again. They did a rehab like right before HCOE kicked off in like 05 I believe.

The last refurb had just started when I was there in January of 05. Scaffolding was being put up...I took lots of bad pics. lol

I cant ride this thing. Last year my wife and I went on it for the first time and boy was I really dizzy when we got off. This and teacups I shall never ride again.

In January 05, it was down for refurb and all the planets were gone.

They should seriously fix it for good.
