Do you have any souvenir buying traditions?

I have a charm bracelet with a Disney charm for each trip I have taken to Disney, and I buy a Christmas ornament each time we visit, and since we have had children they each get to pick out a small Disney stuffed animal each time we go. What are your souvenir buying traditions?

Whether it's Disney or traveling out of state, or to an event, I always buy a hat, a mug and a keychain, lol.

I also get a new charm or charms for my bracelette. I have been colecting Mickey Mouse plush animals. Mostly the harder or rare ones. I have the traditional larger sized Mickey, Steam Boat Willie, Socerer Mickey, DCL Mickey, and YOMD Mickey. I've started collecting Minnie too now as it seems I'm running out of Mickey's. I have the DCL Minnie and plan on getting the YOMD Minnie when we go back. Which charater to collect next:shrug:

I also tend to get a hoodie for every cellebration but only if I like the design

Mickey and Minnie mints. They have them at all the resort stores. They are really good, not strong like altoids, and not too sweet. And they are all in the shape of Disney characters, then the tin they come in is a collectable too.

We usually try to get one of those soft rubber magnets from a rosrt we're staying at and we always bring home a bucket of popcorn.

I buy some sort of frame or magnet/picture holder. We take so many pictures and I like to have something new to display the special pictures from each particular trip in.

Yep. I buy pins. Lots of pins. ;)

It's also important to me to add to my pressed coin collection on every trip to WDW.

We always pick up Disney Christmas ornaments:xmas:, our daughters buy chocolates from Germany in Epcot, Geir cologne and Laila perfume from Norway, buckets of popcorn:ROFLOL:, always some item from Pirates and stuffed animals. And of course whatever new book we don't already possess:rolleyes: and we must document the trip with a WDW scrapbook and goodies. :sohappy:

Fridge magnets from the resorts since the resorts are my favorite aspect of WDW. I also like collecting the resort maps they give out at check-in. Hotel soaps were fun when each hotel had their own soaps and shampoo's. Unfortunately those days are gone which is good for shareholders, but bad for us soap freaks.

My Disney weakness..watches. I have to have on every trip. It is fun to try and find my favorite on property. (I have tons of WDW watches!)

I always buy a box of Potato Head parts in DTD, one pin that signifies something important from the trip (i.e., Mickey Graduation last may, Mickey in a poncho one trip where it rained every day, etc), at least one article of clothing, and I always get my Silouette cut in DTD by the CM "Vinnie".

Mu husband buys a watch nearly every trip from the World of Disney. I buy pin representing the resort that we stayed at or a show we saw (Hoop De Doo, etc.). I also get a photo album for each and every trip.

We buy one Disney collector's plate each trip. Usually the plate states what Disney is celebrating that year, IE Happiest Celebration on Earth, Millenium, Walts 100 birthday, etc.
