Watch which week in October, many of the North Eastern US states have a school break, which is often the same week as the UK half term. That week can be very busy in Disney, although it doesn't seem to affect Universal quite as much.

I would try and get your meal earlier, you can enter MK at 4pm with your MNSSHP tickets and by 7pm everything is starting. If you eat at 6 by the time you finish up and get over to MK it's going to be well into the evening.

I believe that you can either have your park tickets separate from your room key, or your KTWC from your first week would simply become your park ticket for the second week. But, I would check with guest services, I'm sure that they can work round it.
