Good Day Folks..So there I was,out relaxing in this sunny afternoon, looking at the Disney resorts and prices, when I had this idea..How about my first week at PORS and my second week at WL...However when I phoned the Disney hotline the lady explained that this would have to be 2 separate bookings..First week free QS dining plan at PORS..Second week free TS plan at WL...So far so good, then the bubble burst..My KTWC would expire after 7 days ( of course ) But so would my 14 day park hopper...Now remember,we get 14 day tickets for the price of 7....Question...Why can't Disney transfer your 14 day park hopper onto your next resort card.?Its not like we're leaving the bubble..Is there another way round this apart from purchasing 7 day tickets for two individual weeks..?

I believe that you can either have your park tickets separate from your room key, or your KTWC from your first week would simply become your park ticket for the second week. But, I would check with guest services, I'm sure that they can work round it.

Our first two trips had our park tickets separate, but that was because we booked the tickets out with our travel package..

We stayed at POFQ last year mid holiday we had one night at AKL, we were given a new KTTW but only as a room key DDP & Parks stayed onPOFQ KTTW, i know it was only one night but i am sure you will be able to get what you want from the right person who knows what they are doing.

Sounds too good to be true..I understand that it's 2 separate resort bookings..So when it's time to leave PORS,although you get to keep your KTWC...Your QS dining has been used and whatever you spent on that card must be squared up before moving onto your next resort. Then you are issued a new KTWC for the next 7 days with TS dining plan etc.. I think I will try and contact WDW in either E- Mail or by letter to verify.;)

Try calling again. Sometimes it boils down to how far the person on the other end is willing to go for you. Happens with other things too. You call, one person says you can't do something and then later on someone else says "hold on that's easy to do." We are going next week and while we are there one room promotion ends and another starts. We can't add both to our reservation, so the cast member split it up. We have two reservations so we get both promotions and the best price but she made a note so we stay in the same room and don't have to check out and check back in again.

Just went on the website and I see what you mean, but I'm sure if you ring back and get someone who knows what they are talking about they will sort it for you, it can't be that hard to do.

If not you can buy the Disney 14 day pass for £257 from orlando-ticket-deals.co.uk if Disney won't help, only £2
more than Disney charge, it just won't be on your KTTW card.

Agree, but to get free DDP you need to book your resort and park tickets with the same travel company..Example if was booking a Disney resort with Thomas Cook and wanted to get free dining,I would require to book my park tickets with T.C.

Forgot about that. They do make it hard work, but someone at Disney must know how to do it.

I've heard of people upgrading hotel 'mid trip' before, but I don't know how that would affect your free dining.

I suppose worst case you might have to decide what you want more, a change of hotel or half price park tickets, it would wind me up though. I'm glad I decided against trying to change hotels mid trip.

I would prefer it if 2QS credits = 1TS credit like at Disneyland Paris but they don't do that either.

I think to get the package with a dining plan you have to purchase tickets for each reservation though. It might be different for international bookings, but that's the way it works for domestic ones.

You have to purchase at least a one day ticket. That is domestic though. You are right, International may be different.

I am racking my brain and can't think of a way around. Have you broken down the pricing? How much would it be to buy the two sets of tickets? I know you LOVE PORS and since this is your last trip (still not sure how I feel about this) you want to spend some time at your "home away from home." What if you did just WL the whole time? Also, sometimes calling again and talking to someone else is helpful - they may know of a loop hole. But it sounds like the cast member you spoke to was helpful.

Cheers..Yep,the person I spoke to was a WDW travel agent on the UK site..It would be very expensive to purchase 2 separate 7 day park hoppers..And to be honest, staying at a deluxe for 14 nights would mean 14 days & nights of the dining plan..1 CS meal and 1 TS meal. That's 14 ADRS of steaks..:jawdrop: ...I want to go in October with my Dr Facilier costume..I would have to buy a Tweedle Dee costume to come home.:joyfull:
