That pizza is horrendous, just like that of Pizza Planet at DHS. That said, I don't know if they introduced the (much better) flatbreads when the restaurant reopened a few days ago or if they are still the same.

Thank you. It seems large enough to handle the glasses from all four WDW parks (all of them are currently cleaned at Journey Into Imagination). That said, with four theaters there will be a lot of glasses to clean...

I know this is an old post, but does anybody know just how large this new 3D glasses cleaning area is? This could be a very important puzzle piece that could fit into a future Journey Into Imagination refurbishment (I don't want to derail this thread, though).

This refurbishment will be quite extensive. As stated by others, the restrooms found next to the attraction will be expanded, because new ones are being installed in the former area occupied by the Food Rocks stage. The ride is also expected to reopen with a completely redesigned queue.

The area was being used for working Media covering the taping of The Chew. It will reopen soon.

Didn't they announce that Soarin' Over the World would come to Epcot and DCA in 2016? Could it be introduced in the summer/fall?

It is closing in January for sure. No doubt about it. They have to connect the new restrooms with the rest of The Land pavilion, re-do the queue, make changes in the existing two theaters, connecting the third theater, etc. That will surely take more then four or five months.

I know it's not done... I am just wondering why they removed the scaffolding without putting the finishing touches.

This is far from being a rumor. All the cast members are being cross-trained to other locations as we speak, while new Soarin' cast members are being trained at the location to staff the third theater when the ride reopens later next Spring. So, Soarin' will close in January (that is the plan)...

Chilly? It's still over 90 degrees! Anyway, according to OTPN the park is open today, but two slides will be closed.

They were supposed to be fixed early this year. Sadly, it didn't happen due to some changes "behind the scenes."

The only things that actually changed? Here they are: - Waterfall now operational; - Minor adjustments to the Audio-Animatronics; - New belts at load and unload (they are creating a mess with the loud screeching noises and boats getting stuck).

I think... perhaps... Sounds quite uncertain to me. ;-)

Interesting discussion, especially since one the recent Cast Members' guides stated that chanting was a way for tour groups to "show their Disney Side."

Finally someone that recognizes this. The look of The Land pavilion was changed a lot when the pavilion reopened with Soarin'. It looks horrible today, and its layout (especially in the Sunshine Seasons area) is a nightmare for both Cast Members and guests, not to mention the much smaller queue...

I heard it would be Michael Eisner, but I think plans changed.
