I agree and know change is a part of life just have so many fond memories of Star Tours, too bad it couldn't be a part of the land. I'll take a full SW Land over Star Tours though if I had to pick.

Do both if you can afford! I usually do a 5/530 dinner, run back to the resort for a few and then head back for dessert party.

Anyone else notice the comment James Gunn made on his facebook page? He posted a picture saying he was going to the grand opening. The below is from the comments section.

They are long but nothing that bad at all. There are also multiple entrances so if you know the layout you can save yourself steps.

It would be nice to have them roam like they use to, but the problem lately I've noticed is if they roam there usually isn't a photographer with them. Just would be nice to have when you're spending money on memory maker.

Is this roaming event different than the hoedown that you would see them at sometimes?

That's why I like staying at the Yacht Club, I can just walk back from Epcot and catch a taxi.

Love Figment and was blown away as a child after going on the original ride. To me Disney Parks was as much about Figment as it was Mickey at that age. I'll admit I still ride the current version just to get my fix, as bad as it may be.

But to answer your original question, don't think it's dead but don't think we will see it in Star Wars Land either though.

Use to love going on the people mover when the first run of MSEP was going on.

I do solo most of my trips due to being there on business and extending it to a mini vacation.

Happy to report I'll be back March 19th 2018 and then April 1st 2019, both for a week! The streak will get to 9 years in a row. :)

I personally love the location. Grand Floridian is great too and very easy to get to the MK. But, I just love being able to walk to Epcot in five minutes and the atmosphere around the boardwalk area I really enjoy.
